I heard the Gardens V Panthers Div 2 had a bit of spite in the game, can anyone confirm?

Game started almost half hour late no spite just a hard fought game Gardens girls kept their heads & well done to the girls winning 3-1 ref did quite a good job considering all the whinging.

Thanks lefty.

Glad to hear that, wasn't sure as I had just heard about the game as I wasn't there. Heard that on a couple of occassions there was potential for a bit more than verbal. but glad if that was not the case.

Div 2 Gardens are tough team but very mouthy.. Thet were lucky vs Adelaide City last week that they didn't get half their team sent off.. Worse than drunken sailors!!!!

They were lucky as in the referee that the ref didn't speak any English and probably didn't understand half of what they were saying..

Before i cop a hiding on here as well this is not just me taking an easy dig.. It's what their own striker said to me during the game, so if their own player notices then it must be bad!!!

And the Panthers coach said what now... LOL... What's that saying... The kettle calling the pot black... :!:

Div 5: Brahma 0-0 Pultney
Ineteresting game. Brahma pushed but couldn't find the net. Pultney gk very fine game also.
Pultney finishing the game with only 8 players on the park due to an injury and still managed to create chances. Very well done girls. 8)
Best wishes to the young girl who seemed to have the dislocated shoulder. Hope all turned out ok.

At the end of the game they walk away with 3 points why because they play good competitive soccer & put the ball in the net from being tough & mouthy and not soft & whingey :)

The Panthers coach    all I'll say is 3 for 3.

And Super Trooper remember the game is played between the ears so perhaps the Gardens striker got in your ear and put you into a false sense of security by pretending to be your friend & taking your mind off the game

Hey Lefty, sounds like there is a lot of passion in your game, and other clubs cant handle it. I wouldnt let provocative comments reel you into a sledging match, try to stay humble, and keep a lid on it,keep working hard, otherwise karma has some strange ways of biting back when you least expect it, and there is still along way to go. If you really want to annoy them, forgive them ,for not being as good as you on the day.

I dont get involved in sledging but I do love a bit of friendly banter & dont worry I'm as humble as they come & am not afraid of hard work thanks for the advice anyway but I think the Panthers coach needs it more than me

Well done Jay & the Farm girls (incl Tim) everyone starts somewhere Gardens womens team is now in its 7th year no doubt you guys will get some success in time your girls may even win a Div 1 league before the men.

All the best to the girls for the rest of the season.
