Seems like a hard league to predict, here it goes

Cougars V FC Adelaide Solid team from div.3 up against a side that just managed to avoid the drop. Predicting a draw for this one.
Old Ignatians V Sthn Breakers Breakers seem to be a better side at home. Tough first up away trip. Ignatians to take the points.
Comets V Budapest Pre-season favourites for this seasons Championship will comfortably win this one
MA Hawks V Allstars United Hawks are the Division 3 Champions but I think the Allstars might be a bit too sharp.
Gleeson V Navarino Gleeson at home in a close battle

Like I said, tough league to predict, I wouldn't be surprised if I got most wrong

Comets v Budapest - Comets, everyone is talking them up so it will be good to see if they live up to it.
MA Hawks v Allstars United - Could go either way, Allstars can be strong and will be a physical game
Gleeson v Navarino - Gleeson in a tight one, may have solved last season's scoring issues, only time will tell.

Thank God round 1 is finally here, all the talk of who might be where can stop and we will actually see what clubs are contenders and who the pretenders are.

dont under estimate Budapest, if they are anything like last year - some suggestion they didnt want to get promoted ,as they dont have the depth to compete in div.1 (diplomatic way of saying their Reserves side might not get a pass out from the Challa Gdns retirement village ).

He's talking about heading back out there mate...they just had his third and but just found out he needs major work done to his knee that keeps popping out....both his main ligaments snapped clean...had the same problem when he was out with us a couple of years ago. Good luck this year to mate.

Pre-season means squat really. The intensity just isn't the same and clubs are trying all sorts of things.

Not too sure about that.....things don't change that much in my opinion, you can get a fairly good idea from pre season form...just ask the Crows!!
Also at this level...it's more about just getting guys back half fit and back on the track..and not as much about the technical stuff above, Certainly that seems to be the case at our club.
