based on who i believe is the best player overall.
well lampard is a 20+ goal a season midfielder

he has done it the last 4 years in a row? not too many of them around the place

gerrard, fabregas, messi, cant name too many more

80% of fat Franks goals are from penalties or deflections.

But i have to say i like watching Lamps play, the way he just glides along the pitch with ease is great to watch.

u cant be that lucky to get the deflection for the past 4 years ?? luck is running out sometimes .. but skill is permanent ..
i personally think lampard is very consistent player in the club .. his scoring record never lie !! he's also a very smart player tbh .. know where to run .. know where to get the ball etc .. and he's good in assiting too !!

Christ he's good, after that performance I can readily acknowledge he is better than Ronaldo, prior to that there were still doubts in my mind...i'm hoping both players quality amounts to one of the greatest clasico's ever. This guy is going to be hard to stop but it's not impossible...my line up for the clasico

GK Casillas
RB Sergio Ramos
CB Albiol
CB Garay
LB Arbeloa
RCDM Lass (I know Gago has been playing well, but I think this guy can cope better with the threat of Barca's players)
LCDM Alonso
RM Granero
LM Van der Vaart
ST Ronaldo
ST Higuain

rather over exagerated, but your right about the messi part.

1)cech > valdes
2)terry,vidic > pique , puyol
3)lampard > iniesta
1)No not anymore.
2)No, no.

No way you want the best players playing in the World Cup.

No way you want the best player splaying in the World Cup.

I couldn't give a fuck about any other player unless he has 3 lions on his shirt, especially an argentinian.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

clearly the best cant recall a player dominate a season like he has, henry for arsenal was great ronaldo great ,rooney great ,but this guys above them, would be interesting if he played in a team like liverpool this season and would still be dominant but then again how many great players go to shit clubs

No, more like 1981 and the English troops that died after they invaded British territory.

Well Cech is no longer better than Valdes. Cech has gone downhill massively over recent years, whilst Valdes is getting better and better.

Pique is gifted. Simple as that. Couldn't believe United would ever let him leave. Puyol is one of the best central defenders in the game right now. Terry is a sorry excuse for a human being and should consider himself lucky he is somewhat talented on a football field. Vidic is hot and cold. Had a brilliant run of form for a while there with people calling him the best in the world, but he is prone to some howlers and I just don't see him as ever becoming the best in the world. His injury record this season hasn't been great either. Both Vidic and Pique can be considered young, though Vidic has a few years on Pique. Of the two, if I could choose one (pretending I can afford them and that I manage a top club  ), I would recruit Pique. Likewise if given the choice between Terry and Puyol, it would be Puyol without question.

Iniesta is in the top 5 players in the world when he's fit. He's also only 25/26 off the top of my head, whereas Lampard is nearing the end of his career.

Theres my reasons why..

I concur, Puyol >>>>>>>>> Terry, Pique is solid as a brick shithouse in defence and a crack in attack

Iniesta, not his best season and he's not a natural goalscorer but then he doesn't have to be with the ridiculous passes he makes

Valdes deserves a spot in the Spanish squad...Cech is very good...i'd say they're probably equally as good at the moment, but I would pick Valdes

Messi is very good , no doubt about it

but

i would like to see him do it in a league where,
he is actually tackled every now and then
he isn't completely protected by the referees
in a team in which he has to "make the running" , in other words , not as many fantastic players around him

perhaps the world cup will provide some of those answers ...

Ok maybe that's true, doesn't mean he can't get past Diego Lopez for that 3rd goalkeeper spot, also interesting to note...and this is a Real Madrid fan talking, but I would have to rate Valdes over Casillas based on this season's performance. Reina I haven't seen enough of to comment but from what little I have seen/reports I've read he's having a pretty gun season.
