So today an U/15 player scores and doesnt take his shirt off just puts it over his face to expose his belly and turns around to celebrate, the ref decides that this is a yellow card...........
???SINCE WHEN AND WHAT FOR???
Would really love an explanation on this one FFSA or anyone who has an answer cos many of the top leagues would be without many players every 5 games and the rules are rules or are we under a different ruling to the world game here.

Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
saw an U/12 do the same thing from Metro stars last week in first round of cup did not see any yellow raised to the gods in that game, I knew if the shirt was removed it is a card, but pulled over your face from the front?
Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
Just another jumped up try hard superstar - who cares?
Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.
Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
Believe it is tied in with Law IV (Players equipment) of the game. Shirt should be tucked in to the shorts.
If a player deliberately lifts his shirt then they are charged with ungentlemanly conduct.
Much the same if a player were to bend over and lower their shorts.

Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
Maybe when he scores a goal next time he can just be happy and not carry on like a twat ...
Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
If not, just stitch his shirt to his shorts, that should fix the problem....or give him one BIG wedgy

Re: RULES AND REGULATIONS
kids copy the actions of their hero's. When adult professional players start behaving like adults and do away with some of the ridiculous celebrations so too will the kids. Can't blame the refs, rules are rules. Consitency in applying the rules is the trick.
