Croydon 2 actually; as both teams are Croydon and no ladder, federation let Croydon change because there's no ladder & there was a valid reason for change.
Para Hill 1:3 Croydon (1)
So is your team (1) or (2) ??

Last year it was usually between 11 and 12 on Monday morning but sometimes it could be later.

Last week they seemed to go up earlier than that, but then not all teams were playing so there was less data to input.
Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.

Unlucky !!

When you play Adl City, watch out for their 5 defenders and 2 def midfielders !!!

So much for the FFA curriculum and 4-3-3

Yeah, was unlucky. We came from 2:0 down in the first half to equalise 2:2 in the second to lose on an own goal in the last minute. Good game, we played the 4:3:3, the kids understand it and it's easier to move them around so they all get a chance to try different positions.

Did you watch the Raiders U13 game? Any reports?

The Croydon v AC was a great match to watch; both teams played exceptionally well, with a fast paced non stop game.
0:0 first half
First goal from the centre, second from a penalty.

if you go on to the team websites that you're looking for results, sometimes they are on their website before ffsa (late afternoon to evening).

have found the adelaide city and adelaide comets sites to be the best at posting their teams results early (if they are in your league!)

You may want to let the FFSA know , as of the 25 March the fixtures list read Round 1 Enfield v Croydon 1 ,
Round 2 Croydon 2 v Enfield . So does Enfield play the same team twice ? :? :?

We requested a change when the fixtures were in draft review, the FFSA advised; 'since there is no ladder or competition at this age group, the 1 and 2 teams can change as required'.
It's all about development at this age, as long as the kids play lots of games they'll learn.
As for playing twice, well think of it as a 'home & away tournament'.

So johny, are you saying the 2 teams will swap between (1) and (2) from week to week, depending on who you play ???
Or is your team now defiantely (2), and the other (1), and that will remain for the whole season ?

Guys, you panic too much  I wasn't available at the time required for our original game, I asked for a change of time but was advised to just change games. My team is and has always been (2).

Does it really matter who the kids play at this age?

I can't see anymore swaps at this stage but that may change depending on how both teams develop, we may have to choose oppositions that are similarly matched to our 1 & 2 teams. What's the point of playing a team that will score 10, 12, 20 goals against you?
We're looking at moving talented players up to the 12's for games and experience as the season progresses (we already have 3 U11's assisting and it has been great for the players).

The next game may see the teams swap so that the second team doesn't play Enfield again, but do we really care? None of this has been discussed. I really don't know and as I'm not playing for sheep stations..... :)

Our first and main priority is player development and child welfare.

See you on the pitch.

Watched parts of the second half; good game. Both teams looked sharp, maybe Modbury slightly up on Enfield but the last 10 saw Enfield looking very dangerous.

Both teams have had to be re-built virtually from scratch this season so I don't think you will find too many 'big names' or 'stand-outs' amongst their ranks.
Time for some righteous indignation
