Your 'C' team was listed on the Saturday Division 6 form that Alex Cic had at the SAASL meeting on Saturday (as I reported in the other thread). I was wondering why that had disappeared.

Division 6 has all the 'C' teams aligned with Division 2 (5 out of 10 teams) and Division 3 (3 out of 10 teams), Torrens Valley, and Vipers C2.

The best outcome for the SAASL would be to have Vipers (2) and Hahndorf (2) in Division 4, making it minimum 9 teams with Firsts and Reserves, and move one of the two remaining teams without Reserves into the 'C' or 'One Team Club' divisions (Brahma Lodge, Dragon Rangers). Obviously though Vipers and Hahndorf have requested to have seperate 'C' grade teams for their respective reasons. I'm sure it will work itself out, it generally does.

We have seperate C grades, due to ground usage complications. By the way, you wouldn't want Vipers C grade in the same division as Hawksey would you..................

No there isn't, you're correct. I just checked my papers from the meeting - I had Navarino with a question mark next to it for Division 6 because I have read about it on here on FN. Good times.

Downs away to the vikings last game thats 3 out of the last 4 for us to finish with an away game. The flora margarines first game in sounds good we have been working on the bert chants all through the off season.. Whats the go at the vikings do we need to take the long boat and a few bears skins. What is the drink of a viking and if they are getting relegated do we go to the beach and give them a viking funeral perhaps a league offical can shoot the burning arrow into the div 2 boat as it sails off..

My suggestion:

1. Bring the div five Hahndorf side to 4B.
2. Bring Torrens Valley back to 4A
3. Drop Brahma Lodge from 4A to 4B and they can play reserves fixture to correspond with Torrens Valley.
4. Put Navarino C's in a vacancy that arises in div 5 or 6 as a result of the above suggestions

Did the league organise the fixtures for the C teams in Division 1 (Sun) to be in line with the first team and reserves (ie.all at home on same day against the same side)

The original draw for Division 2 (on the webiste yesterday) was like this however it has now changed & is not the case at all with the C's now starting in May

Are there any other Sunday Division 2 sides that think the draw should be the same as the firsts and reserves I belvie there are only two teams who don't have C teams (Port Pirie & Vista) so why can it stay as it was with the Pirie & Vista games as byes

Dont worry about it too much .... i reckon there will be changes to 9C2.
