Atmosphere in the stands was fkn awesome. But thats where it should end. Again greek football is marred by the crowd throwing sh|t onto the field. This time a stewardess picked up cracker which exploded in her hands and she lost 4 fingers. Its only a matter of time before a player cops something similar.....

+45 injured, 24 hospitalised........and of course there are no away fans allowed at these games (go figure).

Getting four fingers blown off might be a minor detail to me and you Kop because we still have ours thank God, but for that poor lady and her family and the company she works for and her colleagues, im sure its more than just a minor detail. I do believe however there is no room for crackers but im a strong advocate for flares, they just add a brilliant colour to the stadium and bring something else to the atmosphere. Theres always the minority that ruin it for the majority, thats how its always been i guess

Whether she thought to pick it up or not is a minor detail.
The object shouldn't the on the pitch full stop. She shouldnt have had to be in a position to think 'can I pick this up' or 'is this too dangerous to touch'.

That aspect is a minor detail. The root of the problem (major detail) is that it appears in the stadium and on the field of play.
