Congratulations to MetroStars Seniors on a fantastic year!
Pictured below, our first team and senior committee members celebrate a 1-0 win
over arch rivals Adelaide City to win the championship at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Congratulations also to our U19 team, Grand Final winners (2-0) and our
Reserve Team, narrowly losing the Grand Final 0-2.
Great reward for the hard work put in
by all...looking forward to similar feats
from our up and coming juniors!

2010 Season Launch
On Saturday 20th March 2010 MetroStars will launch the 2010 season. The
season launch is a significant milestone, as not only does it represent the
opening of the season, but players are also presented with their training kits.
Festivities will commence at noon until late. The fun packed day includes a
range of activities for all players including a 5 and 6 a-side soccer tournament
played in ‘The Pitch’, the inflatable soccer field.
The launch also provides the opportunity to meet the junior committee,
coaching staff and mingle with the MetroStars community.
Please place this date in your diaries and join us for the afternoon as part of
the MetroStars community with plenty of good food, drink and fun. We look
forward to seeing you on the day.
Canteen – we need your help please?
MetroStars canteen is staffed entirely by volunteers.
We would like the parents and friends of players to please donate some of
your precious time to lend a helping hand in the bar and canteen. It is a great
way to meet new people and also help the club at the same time.
A roster will be produced in due course for each team to help in the canteen
on training nights and game days. Please speak to Michael Francese if you
can help out in any way?
Team Dinners
We will be holding Friday night team dinners again this season.
Each week, teams will be rostered to have dinner in the club rooms. As times
for training are staggered, so will be the times for dinner. We aim to have two
teams every Friday night at the two time slots.
This is also a great time for the players, coaches and parents to get together
away from training and game days and get to know one another.

As a matter of interest are Metro having and A & B team set up in their U11's or an even mix over both teams?.

Quite a few clubs are this year - know of couple that are even having A & B set up in their U10's.
