I can understand you need to cover costs, but to expect too many to spend $55 on a scarf is ridiculous, I sell scarves at $25, some tell me that is too much!!

Are they knitted or that thin silk like material?
Company is based in Adelaide, and we are dealing with the manafacturer.

ACL Scarves last time were sold at $40 - Same as our members price this time around.

They are knitted.

It's a shame AU don't make official ones, then the club would gain too (not have a go at you for making them).

You like stats, so I assume you are happy if 1000 people like the scarf but nobody buys one.

After all you say if Owusu has 1000 shots but doesn't score he is doing OK :D :D :D

Owusu doesnt have thousands of shots. Take a look at his record assface. Playing 1 upfront, hes an assists person. If youd watch any of the youth league games, you might see this.

As for the scarves, ill guaruntee you that they will sell out, no matter what people say on here about the design or price.

They had a shit load of joint team scarves for $10 in Athens, all different designs with lots of shit on it. Jus sayin'.

I hope they do sell out, I am not knocking them or you.

Personally I like the ones on here for $55 more :D I can imagine TGJ with one of them wrapped around his head!!!

http://www.bluefoxgallery.com/scarves/scarves.htm

AU didn't buy Owusu to assist others in the Youth League I can assure you. They brought him over to SCORE GOALS in the A-League and the ACL (which may still happen). Nothing personal but your defence of him in the above post opens you up for all the abuse you deserve.

You really think that he was brought over to score goals and not set them up here?

He was alwys going to be playing in a 1 striker situation, always with his back on goal. its the same way Cristiano played last year.

if anyone is thinking about buying one of these scarfes, or anything else for that matter from the "RED ARMY', please be careful, and dont pay upfront.
I know of several people, including my son who has paid for scarfes from these guys and never recieved them. We dealt with Jason, who is apparently the 'merchandise committee member' for this lot, and he came up with different stories as to why they were not recieved, eventually he stopped taking my calls.
I have even contacted them through thier web page with no luck.
I think Top Gun Jimmy and his mates are just out to make a few extra dollars at the expense of young Adelaide United supporters.
so again, I advise you not to pay for anything upfront, you will just be burnt.

Mate, given what TGJ has done with the buses etc, I wouldnt accuse him of such a thing. Others maybe, but Jimmy? No way. He has lost money trying to help others out and he didnt have to do it.

fair call Bomber,
I spoke to Jimmy last last year about it, he distanced himself from the Red Army at that point, and told me
he wasnt part of it then and couldnt do much about it.
whether he has jumped in with them recently or just stands and chants with them now I dont know,
but based on other topics regarding the 'RED ARMY', and his defensive posts, he is involved, and my warning was for folk to avoid dealings with 'anyone' associated to this 'organisation',

Jimmy,

Yourself, Jason (RED ARMY merchandise person) and who ever monitors the 'contact us' button on the RED ARMY website, all have my details, full name and address, phone number and email address.
I have even posted on the RED ARMY website, asking for 'who to contact' for assistance, only to have all the posts deleted, that in itself shows signs of underhand dealings.
I really dont think I am hiding behind my 'user' name,
what I am doing is warning good hardworking people and young kids not to get burnt by this 'outfit', as myself and several other have been.

thank you,
Dale

Jimmy, don't rise to it. Dale is obviously is angry with RA, and possibly he has every right to be. From what he says he is owed some explanation, and $$$ from RA.

Don't take everything so personally and chill. I know you are as honest as they come, well to me you and your family have always been nothing but straight up.

Hi Champ.

My name is Shaun, and I'm a comittee member with the Red Army.

Ill point out a few things in a hope to resolve this.

Jason is no longer our merchandise manager, but is still a member of our Comittee.
As far as we are aware, There is only 1 lot of scarves that werent recieved that were pre-paid (1 lot of Three Scarves)
Jason advertised the times and places to pick up the scarves (at both the pre-game pub and in town on more than 10 occasions) and even gave out his personal mobile phone number so that he could be contacted.
The scarves were not picked up after several months. On Grand Final Day, there was a mix up and the scarves we had on hold and they were sold. Unfortunately, due to batch numbers and prices we werent able to re-order until later on this year.
Since then, the person who had not collected their scarves was spotted selling stickers with our groups intellectual property on them without our consent or prior knowledge.
Jason Receieved 25 missed calls while he was working from someone with a private number.
The person posting on the website posted the same thing over and over again - 7 times within an hour. The information that was asked for Was Jason's mobile number which the person already had. It only happed once (23rd April) under the username of "Ramsey". As for the Contact Us Email - im assuming that was the one that was send Saturday and replied to on Sunday.
When the Scarves were re-ordered, Jason was in Europe and we had no way of contacting the person who had not collected thier scarves.
Jason is now back from Europe and As discussed in the comittee meeting, we are honoring the deal as planned. In fact, while writing this post I've talked to the merchandise co-ordinator who tells me that he replied to an email from yourself yesterday and that you can pick them up from his office in the City or at the Elephant on Friday Night.

I'll apologise for your son not receiving the product he purchased as yet, but i can assure you our people have done everything possible to rectify the situation.

As of July this year, the supporters group has registered itself as an Organisation with the National Government, and as such all of our business practices are closely monitored.

If this isnt fixed soon, please pm me and ill sort it out for you.

Cheers

Shaun

thank you Shaun,

I appreciate you taking the time to post this information, and yes it was my son who orderd the 3 x scarfes,
I dont know about 'being seen selling stickers', a) I doubt if you guys would know what I look like, b) I deal in larger ventures than stickers.
It may have been myself or my assistant leaving messages on Jason's phone, but this was over a period of four months, and even I dont work that hard!!
I have not recieved an email from your website, but I can accept that as a genuine statement, I am aware that 'one' email can be 'spammed or junked' at my end.
I look forward to meeting either your merchandise co-ordinator or yourself, either at his office, the Elephant or somewher else, as I live and have an office near your home.
I will PM you my details and we can arrange something.
Again I thank you,
Dale
