but football's coming home in 2018.
If an UEFA team team wins 2018, then I will back you for 2022.
I hope you win the 2022 bid

Re: I hope you win the 2022 bid
this scenario imo is the best. It will be due to go to the northern hemisphere/europe in 2018 after SA and Brazil. Also by 2022 we would see an expanded, mature finacially developed a-league in aus with the demand for stadium upgrades anyway.
I hope the FFA is smart enough to realise this and does a deal with the poms for it.

Re: I hope you win the 2022 bid
I found some interseting info and in 2018 it is time for a developing country and here how it may go
Developing 2018
Developed 2014 Brazil
Developing 2010 South Africa
Developed 2006 Germany
Developing 2002 Japan / Korea
Developed 1998 France
Developing 1994 USA
Developed 1990 Italy
As I am not to sure on previous and I think this goes back a couple of more world cups

I really can't see it NOT being in the same/similar timezone to GMT in 2018.
UK 2018 (since England isn't a county ) & Australia 2022 would be the ideal situation for most of us.
