Adebayor

Post by 10 »

Anyone see his interview on FSN? Was about the attack on the Togo players and how he is coping ... but he was wearing his Arsenal polo! haha.

pre-occupied?? thats a lame excuse, no matter how upset an individual is you can still make decisions on the clothes your going to wear for the day let alone for a skysports television interview.. :?

do you not question the players actions let alone commitment being a City supporter..??

to me it shows what kinda of player he really is & backs up what all us gooners were saying about him

who knows what happened there, may have lost his clothes in the ambush and only had his crappy old gear back at his home in togo. think he may be asked to explain though once things settle down.

Maybe money is tight for him and his Man City and Togo shirts were dirty. He can't afford new ones so he put on one of his old Arsenal ones on??

The 25-year-old is understood to have contacted City to explain his appearance for an interview on Tuesday in an Arsenal shirt, the images of which City said last night have been a cause of concern to him. He left Cabinda minus his kit, which was left on the ambushed coach, and having arrived in his homeland minus kit borrowed the jersey from his brother to conduct his initial interview.

wasn't he the guy (while at Arsenal) that was ripping of boots and other gear to send back to Togo without his team mates permission?
I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

Yup. Would have been a funnier interview if he had a Fabregas shirt on lol.

Also i have a soft spot for Adebayor... only because this video makes me laugh so much.

Refuse to believe it was the only top available.

Yeah, think thats what lead to him and RVP falling out. Apparently he took a pair of RVP's boots that he had scored a hatrick with and intended on keeping them for his family but Adeybayor had other ideas!
