Kop,hate to admit it but so true.I was there 2 years ago with Collosus,s father and we were saying the same thing,about the Albo,s.Spanakopites at 6am....awesome but how can u go past the awesome mix grill at Antonis in the evening and the frappe at Klimis by the beach.Then after 1 am we all go to Lindos for the best tarts in Europe.!

I agree with you mate re teh Alvani. Its the same thing in Limnos but on a smaller scale. They work hard and still have the tembelo-ellines criticising them.

Ill be happy to wear the backwards colours of our Horio because for the Horio ill do or wear anything, i LOVE GENNADI, its where my spiti is and i have nothing but good memories of the years i spent there when i was growing up. Reminds me of our grrandparents and parents when they got to Australia all those years ago. Not sure if it would make top 10 in Greece; Chania has the best beaches in Greece, Kefalonia and Zakyntho close 2nd/3rd. What I remember ( ) of Super Paradise in Mykonos that was sensational and Red Beach in Santorini is just amazing cos it is.

I know Amphitheatro very well,we partied there nearly every night till the sun came up.Its the number 1 dance club in Lindos at the moment taking the crown from Acropolis discoteque and NAMA dance club.My top 5 beaches in Rhodes are Haraki beach,Gennadi beach,Agathi beach,Tsampika beach and Stegna beach.Faliraki Beach is the annual host of the unofficial European beach soccer championships starting mid july.Past 4 winners have been Greece,Germany and England last 2 years.

There are plenty of Ellines in our Horio Kop, i dont know where you get your misinformation from, but Gennadi is a pretty big Horio and despite the Alvaniko migration to the Horio, the number of Ellines far outweigh them You cannot honestly tell me that each and every one of them are bad anthropi. My oldies have quite a few Alvani living around them and they have no problem with them whatsoever, there are good ones and bad ones and the fact that the Amphitheatro in Lindos is a club that will be full of younger ones, its hardly surprising that the bad ones hang out there I said for "me" it was the best beach on the Island and for others it will come somewhere in their top 5. As for the top 10 in Greece, thats a fact that even an Asklipeno like yourself cannot deny

ps- why would you want to play at the school when we have a full size pitch down by the cemetery :? Nothing wrong with Gennadi my friend, in fact its unspoilt by all the tourism that surrounds the Northern part of the Island and thats just the way we Gennadians like it

look out about the unspoilt part, its becoming more devloped. The dimo of sth rhodes are encouraging more development.
South of Megali Gi there are resorts going up and around Gennadi there lots of estates being sold to foriegners. If you have xorafia around the water or on the hills overlooking the water, time to start thinking of doing something.
You can get a portahome (!!) in Gennadi Hills, bout 3km from the water but with nice view, on about 500sqm of land for e200-250,000!!

And as for top 10 in Greece, find me a link , Ive seen some pristine breathtaking beaches in my travels and it'd be tough to put Gennadi-Kiotari in there.

We had to play at the school cos they dont let students roam the street during lunch and recess (too many alvanoi probably!!... ).
