Saturday Premiere Division:

Adelaide Villa closely pursued by BOSA again. Possibly with Vipers and Salisbury Villa giving scares to the top teams. Wanderers could do well if they don't lose too many key players.

Sturt Marion and Modbury to be relegated, but it should be a lot closer through the bottom and mid table than last season.

Saturday Div 2:

Africa to win with a log jam of Comets, Budapest and Iggies right behind.

Breakers and Navarino for the drop.

It's too early to predict anything. Who knows who is playing where!

ADEL VILLA Anything less than last year would surprise, min top 2.
BOSA Will fight it out with Uni and Sturt for the other top 4 spots.
ST PETERS Losing some quality, may find it tough, confirmed losses... Baker, Galey, 2 x defenders, 1 x Striker. Low-Mid table.
ADEL WANDERERS losing plenty quality, Tass training with Enfield and S Barbs keen for a run with a rival club. Braz also departed. Hear more are on the move. Low-Mid table.
STURT MARION Have been given an open cheque book and are head hunting some big names...top half i'd say.
MOD JETS May struggle from what i saw last year with 2 more sides that push the ball around coming in..need more than just hard work and agression in a very good competition. 10-8.
ADEL UNI New coach...heard they are desperate for success this year, may pick up a few, can expect them to be around the mark for some time, 4-2 finish.
STIRLING Average season and squad last year too reliant on 1 or 2, very good depth with there B's winning the league by a mile. Can't see them finishing any higher than 10-8 again.
SAILSBURY Will be tough to beat if they can stay focused on the ball. Mid table at best 8-5.
VIPERS Pantsaris..played under him!! not sure if he will have a huge impact other than drag out a couple of names with him..Not sure on there squad...could surprise but 5 or 6 would mean a good first season in div 1 to build on.

In a club get together the week before christmas someone mentioned that Usc Lion would be coming to saturday division two rather than start at the bottom. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Doubt it. not unless they merge with an existing div 2 club! But I thought Pirie were merging with USC anyway?

Adelaide Villa Had to start from the bottom div's as did Navarino, Pumas, Budapest...

I think the person might have been suggesting - How can you pick the 2010 Melbourne Cup winner when you have no idea of the field yet :|

All the preseasons are just about to begin.........Will be interesting to see the new faces around each club. Still can't go past Adelaide Villa in Div 1 but I've heard Salisbury Villa have done some major recruiting! Div 2 ???????? Hawks will be very competitive and Old Boys have some guns recruits but Old Iggs, Africa, Comets and Navarino will the main threats. Can't wait for the Greek derbies! Hoping to see Alepou but after his last statement about the comets destroying the Vipers, he may just have curled under a rock
