The red one would be nicer if it was more of a pinkish purply color (ie. like Tony James's hair color).

Dont particularly care what the refs wear, so long as they do a good job - they can wear a tux for all I care!
How are numbers looking for season 2010? Will there be enough that all divs will have linesman in all 3 grades? Good to see so many younger ones doing the job last season. Not always perfect, but I'd much rather a young neutral, than a club person having to fill in.

Theres definately a lot of young refs as well as the more experienced ones going around. and there is expected to be another big intake for the upcoming season which is fantastic. I'd say there shouldnt be a problem covering games on saturdays and juniors on sundays with the numbers we have but like usual, juniors have club ARs.

Will they ever be back in black like the Power?
I may not be perfect but I'm still the closest I have ever come across

okay fair enough...i think its better like that. All refs look like a team and especially when it comes to tournaments we will all look co-ordinated. At Pt Lincoln and STIC there were multi colours

The green shirts are for new referees, regardless of age, sex, etc.....
You are one of the youngsters - get over it!

Happened at USA '94 for the same reason.

At least they had the guts to admit they screwed up and changed - would've been bad if they'd continued in yellow to try not to draw attention to it.

These 2010 kits will be great, I can't wait to walk out onto the field with pride in those uniforms.

yeah i thought it would be something like that. i didn't mind the black kits that the referee's used to wear mainly because it doesn't really clash with anyone besides maybe Adelaide City

i think we should use the same colours as the a-league refs use. Blue, Yellow and black. red tends to clash with quite a few teams and you'll find not many refs wear it compared to the yellow.
