Re: port pirie city
The question I would like answered is where are Lions exceptional player going to play next year?
Redders
Hunt
Djoko
Cosic
Will these guys play Saturdays or Sundays?
If they want to play Sundays they our club would accomodate them.

They all live Western way, not for Westies and want to play Saturdays. I already checked anyway

Re: port pirie city
Makes it even more of a joke saying its a "merger" as none of the players will play for Pirie thats for sure.

Not all of them would move to Saturdays thoughStatto11 wrote:Makes it even more of a joke saying its a "merger" as none of the players will play for Pirie thats for sure.
Re: port pirie city
You would imagine though that the players would have been consulted on the decision, especially the ones that are first team regulars. Hard enough attracting new players to a club season to season without the big switch to a different playing day.Jay Walking wrote:Not all of them would move to Saturdays thoughStatto11 wrote:Makes it even more of a joke saying its a "merger" as none of the players will play for Pirie thats for sure.
Re: port pirie city
So once again the bottom Saturday Division will be dominated by a club coming over from Sunday Division 1o or 2

I personally am looking forward to a trip to port pirie, if im good enough to get a game this year as im getting a bit of a belly and ageing a bit, if i am then ill just have the monday off, sure most guys could organise their rdo or work saturday to get monday off, but i do agree its a bit dodgy how they gort straight in to division 2.

Its probably dodgy but its happened plenty of times before and is allowed under the current rules.Tilley_Park_Boys wrote:I personally am looking forward to a trip to port pirie, if im good enough to get a game this year as im getting a bit of a belly and ageing a bit, if i am then ill just have the monday off, sure most guys could organise their rdo or work saturday to get monday off, but i do agree its a bit dodgy how they gort straight in to division 2.
I think it would be a great trip up there.

Thats a big call putting Redders, in the same category as the other players.King Kenny wrote:The question I would like answered is where are Lions exceptional player going to play next year?

Djoko, will be able to be even lazier and still score goals, Sinisa will probably disappear into his 14th retirement, and Hunt will be agreat pick up for any team.
