Juventus vs Bayern Munich

Post by Juventino »

Live on SBS tomorrow morning at 6am.

Huge match tonight at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino where a win is good enough for either side but Juventus can also go through with a draw. We have to show the same intensity as against Inter and with the confidence high that is hopefully the case. Bayern have been in better form domestically in recent weeks than they were showing at the start of the season. Their only losses recently if I am not mistaken were the two against Bordeaux.

For Juventus Chiellini is out, so Legrottalie replaces him. Buffon should be playing this match and then go off to have knee surgery, although I do read this may not be the case. Beside that it should be the same line-up which started against Inter.

-------------------Buffon
Caceres----Legrottalie---Cannavaro---Grosso
-----Marchisio-----Sissoko----Melo
--------------------Diego
-------------Del Piero---Amauri

Only thing that I think may alter from that above lineup is Camoranesi in for Melo.

Arjen Robben is back for Bayern - he hasn't played since the last time these two sides met. But while he is back Ribery is not due to injury. But I'm not too sure on what other ins and outs there are for Bayern.

Huge blow losing Chiellini so hopefully Buffon proves his fitness in time.
Predicting a 1-1 draw but hopefully Juve can put the game to bed early, fingers crossed!

Yes.

Fucking pathetic performance. We were disgraceful. How you can go from what happened on Saturday to this, with qualification on the line, is incredible. Europa League now.

Even after Trez scored you could tell that Bayern would get something from the game.
They absolutely killed us.
Diego and Melo give the ball away way too much, not just tonight but in previous games as well.

take the good with the bad.

thats what happens when fake supporters follow BIG clubs.

the juve/inter/pool/man u/chelsea/madrid/barca etc big club followers sit in their armchairs, turn the tube on and expect a lazy victory.

you expect to win every game and when you lose 1 game its like a catastrophe.

dont worry, juve will go undefeated in the league for the next 2 months and when they lose to livorno or bologna away the knives and excuses will be out again. the television stations will run hours and hours of analysis. get over it. teams lose games.

shut up you idiot! Juventus expect more because they should expect to at least pick up a draw against bayern munich at home, they lost but the way they lost was terrible and so the game should be analysed.

worry bout yur own backyard mastiff...scraping a result against bari isnt that convincing either!

I guess i really did jinx them

1-4  how on earth did that happen ?

& Milan who have been playing well almost threw away qualification to Zurich. Thats what happens when you tire, Milan have no real depth.

After the madrid games I thought they were going to top the group, positive head to head records against madrid & marsielle, yet the only goal they could put past zurich was a penalty, albeit a deserved one.

Long gone are the days of Italian teams being a force in europe

On an added note; all of Zurich's 4 pts were won against Milan

Come talk to us after Sunday - you have to go to Bari this week I believe, before the Napoli game they had the best defence in the league.

We are undefeated in 9 and last I remember we smashed you at your ground.

For the record I will be happy with Europa league qualification and Im not hammering Juve or its fans on here just this twit who probably got given a Juve shirt when he was small and decided it was "cool".

Ferarra will be gone just after Xmas I reckon.

Here's a random question...

Why did the Bayern keeper take the penalty? Surely you have players capable of taking them before him..... seems a stupid thing to do.

think one of the SBS commentators said he has scored 32 goals in his career, and one season he was 3rd or 4th in hamburg's top goal scorer list.

Apparently he has scored 3 CL goals before - all against Juventus!

Mastiff, it is one thing to lose after playing well. These things happen. But when you go from a performance such as against Inter and then back it up with such a dire performance with qualification on the line it just makes you wonder. I'll still be around, I've seen good and bad times; this is just another loss but the way we played, or our lack of play due to how good Bayern were, really hurts.

I am wary of the Bari game this weekend - they have plenty of pace and can be deadly on the counter. Barreto and especially Alvarez will cause problems for our defence. Alvarez vs Grosso - I'm sort of dreading that!

I think that was 1998. Well done.

Now this is the third time i have asked the question, and feel free to dodge it again.

Whats your record like in the Champions League like against Italian teams????

I am expecting you to dodge it like you probably dodge salads.

Yes I have to agree with you. The corner count at 75' was 0-10 in favor of Bayern and my initial thought was that's some stat.
