Euro 2012 seeds announced

England have been named among the top seeds for February's European Championship qualifying draw - but Scotland are in the third band after falling down the rankings.


England won nine of their 10 qualifiers for next year's World Cup and Fabio Capello's men will again be the highest-ranked team in their group.

But the Scots' dismal showing in the race to South Africa sees them now rated the 26th best side in Europe and they join the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in pot three, with Wales among the fourth seeds.

Pot One: Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, England, Croatia, Portugal, France, Russia.

Pot Two: Greece, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Turkey, Denmark, Slovakia, Romania.

Pot Three: Israel, Bulgaria, Finland, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Pot Four: Slovenia, Latvia, Hungary, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, Wales, FYR Macedonia, Cyprus.

Pot Five: Montenegro, Albania, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Iceland, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein.

Pot Six: Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Malta, Faroe Islands, Andorra, San Marino.

I can never remember if it should be on or off, but I use characters like æ,ø and å which uses such codes quite a lot so if it doesn't work the first time I just push the number lock and try again. Come to think of it, I need to turn it on on my laptop so yeah it has to be on to work.
