The XI I posted isnt mine but one I got out of a magazine.

I think it is based on form and consistency over the last few years. Who has played well in the big matches etc

I assure you that nothing would give me greater pleasure, not even a thousand blowjobs, but I wanted my post to be realistic.

Why? He's been consistently one of the best players in the world over the last two years, regardless of his cheating or which scummy club he played/plays for.

Yeah he hasn't done well in some of the big games, but in others hes done quite well. For example he was Utds best player in the CL final against Barcelona. So yeah, more often than not he is anonymous in big games, but not all the time.
Regardless, it would take someone with great debating ability to convince me Ronaldo doesn't belong in the World XI right now..

I did say big games but there are a number of other factors such as consistency.

In the last two seasons didnt Ronaldo score 68 goals or something like that in all competitions? Ronaldo definitely deserves his spot.

So?...what's wrong with that? I really don't think anyone would argue that, that line up isn't a good one at least on paper and with Barca winning the treble you'd expect quite a few Barca players, Vidic and Ronaldo were important in Manchester United making the CL that's why they're there, Casillas...there's no doubt he's at least one of the best in the world. Maicon has eclipsed Dani Alves since Alves got injured and Villa because he doesn't stop scoring for club or country...you could have put in a number of players there though, but honestly, you're actually going to tell me that's not a fair line up?

If you're going to play with a defensive midfielder, it has to be Essien. I mean Yaya is class, but Essien is an animal.

Whats so funny?

All I hear is Man Utd fans saying how good their team is, so that has to be the best you can get.
