Game needs to change

I proprose to have

3 x 30mins

4 points for a win
2 points for a draw
1 Point for a loss (only if losing team scores more than 2 goals)

if this is implemented then we might see some real entertaining soccer on the park

Its not footy mate and if you dont understand how football can be entertaining the way it is, then maybe you should change codes.
Do you acutally play in the amateur league? I find it quiet entertaining being a part of it.

good idea i reckon....i also reckon that sides should have an attacking side and a defensive side, like american football, once over the halfway line, the game stops for teams to change sides, then play on. i also reckon bringing "polo" into the game of soccer. Everyone can play on horses but instead of using a hockey ball, like polo, use a soccer ball.

Could also introduce a half goal if you hit the post, 50m penalty for bad tackles, nobody allowed in the penalty area like in 7 aside, throw ins to be replaced with line outs, pass back to the keeper allowed via any body part, 2 goals given for overhead bicycle kicks that score...

Sounds like another one of those "footy minda" types. Can't spell, can't be positive, and can't get enough of our attention. Give in to the world game son, there's gotta be a reason AFL isn't played internationally! Or is it that AFL is becoming more like football. The game revolves around retaining possession (even going backwards more than ever before) and switching play to initiate attacks!

Just as well, running the line where the opposite line isn't parallel would make judging offside quite tricky

There is only one rule I would change, and thats putting on substitutes in the last 10 minutes of a game to waste time. If you loose men in the last 10 minutes then tuff, hang on for dear life......

I hate all the slow shiraz, I would also make it that when the Keeper has it at his feet he has 6 seconds to get rid of it much like in his hands...and yes thats two rules i'd change!

time wasting is the only thing that needs eradication together with people hugging people in the box during corners - whats that shite about...
