Kick off times
Why don't we change? I think the existing format is terrible and takes away your weekend!
Can I propose kick off time for C's at 9.30am, B's 11.15am & A's at 1.10pm
That way we can be out of there by 3 and enjoy more of our Saturday or Sunday!!

Re: Kick off times
Alot of pitches have junior or school football on them in the mornings, making the early kickoff time unavailable.

Re: Kick off times
10:30am, 12:45pm and 3:00pm would be more appropriate.
I know I am a cheeky little devil but has anyone seen Mike Hunt in the car park?

This is stretching the day, that would be going back a step. Any committee member would vote against it!Mike Hunt wrote:10:30am, 12:45pm and 3:00pm would be more appropriate.

Re: Kick off times
obviously mickey mouse isn't a club person.....'a' team plays at 110pm and finished by 3pm and off home you say. If this was the case then i'd still see myself leaving the club on the sunday night, however more paro with the extra drinking time. leave as is, seems to be working fine at the moment
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

No it isn't, slightly adjusted to allow all three teams to play 45 minutes each way.

Most northern clubs with juniors have their pitches booked by E&D up to 12pm so no early kick off times and besides I havent seen too many C team players that can round out 90mins anyway.

Those were the days. I used to wear my strip (including my shin pads) all day long. After playing for TTG on Elizabeth St in the morning it would be off to Banksia Park High School for the rest of the day, playing 'FA cup' or '60 seconds' in the hockey goals.BADA BING wrote:Fkuc it lets go back to 8am kick off like school days, then Mickey you can wear your soccer gear to bed ready for your clashMicky Mouse wrote:Why don't we change? is that the same as the game i used to play we my mates back in scotland except we called it world cuppie, where you chose a team, when you scored you was through to the next round and the last one left at the end of each round was out, and you had to score an extra goal each round to get through, was ace if its the same game, ah the memories, lol
