Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure they would have been/were at United training last night..unless you meant tonight?

And correct me if I'm wrong...but if it's only 25 then para don't even have 2 full squads.
As benny said, time will tell now we can only speculate but it's fun isn't it? :D

Oh I love rumours.

The new Campbelltown coach is a woman from I believe Gardens
sturts is some guy, can't remember his name and Cumbys is Chris Goddard.
That's what I've been told.

Drusetta was sacked mid way through the season, being replaced by Camillo Lombardi from the boys.
Why isn't he coaching anymore??? I had heard he was going to stay... :?:

Interesting decision from Cumby, Rob Samson was awarded 'FFSA coach of the year' together with Eduardo from City, so obviously a great thing for him...why is he leaving? I heard he got the boot...

Sturt coach...no idea at all!

Good luck to all though :D

Drusetta has joined the Adelaide Uni revolution, and is the keeper coach.

Nathan Fleetwood is the Sturt coach. Rob is also there apparently.

Amazing!
Adelaide Uni continue to recruit "star" coaches and don't even have a Premier team...I don't even recall any particularly good result at any level last year, but I assume that they are all about the juniors and development. Point is, if they were doing something interesting...wouldn't their junior teams get better results? To me AUni it's a big mystery.

Sturt instead seems set for great things, provided that they have some good players. If their 'old glories' give up (or have given up) then they must replace them with someone strong IMO.

Rumour definitely true.
Camillo replaced by Amy Pascoe at C'town.

So the coaches for the new prems are all in place now I think.
3 new faces (well, Chris G. is an 'old new' at Cumby!)
This is what is should be like:

C'town - Amy Pascoe
Para Hills - Russell Turner (think it's Turner lol)
Cumby - Chris Goddard
Sturt - Nathan Fleetwood (+ Rob Samson?)
Fulham - Max Primaro
Olympic - Dave Lesan
Metro - Enzo Salzano
A City - Edoardo Rosso

Why is that DD? Was she coaching at Gardens?
I thought she was also doing state, so she shouldn't be that bad...

And yeah, I know, if you are doing state it doesn't mean that you are a great coach for sure...but still!

she wasn't coaching Gardens Womens she was coaching our Juniors for part of the season but ended up leaving them in the lurch halfway thru the season, but she did play for us in Div 3 for half of the season.

she carries alot of baggage and its one of those things where it is 'dont tell us we told you so'

INTERESTING Adelaide City have dropped their div2 side to div3 and have promoted the majority of their U17 side to div2 and have gone around recruiting state players from other clubs. Looks like there will be a big push from City for an U19 competition in the near future. I hope that City can keep their promises they have been making to girls from other clubs, for the girls sake. Looks like they are really planning for the future.

U19 comp would be a waste of time. All the quality girls in that age group should be playing in Premier League or Div2/reserves. We need to strive to increase the quality in our highest womens competition (premier league), and get all the players who are good enough to be involved in that. We done have enough players to introduce an u19s comp. I think we are fine with U17s.

Other clubs will have to promote their juniors in D2 and some already have...If there are no reserves where are you supposed to play your second team?

Who have AC recruited from other clubs and what promises have they been making?

surely some of those div 2's wont be happy about that. any chance of them looking for other clubs? Isn't this what FFSA wanted to start happening by getting rid of the reserves?

Not only interesting but a little surprising as WC’s and FFSA’s clear direction was for a club to have extra seniors team (as in a City having a Div 3 team as they don’t currently have one) they would have to start with the team in lowest division (Div 5) and work their way up.

Maybe FFSA will see sense and bring back Reserves after all! :D

that would be pretty ridiculous, starting from Div 5 would be completely pointless, and bad for the competition in general.

Yes agreed.
However I think you will find that is exactly the point though by initially cutting the Reserves league and having such rules – so it forces players to move to other clubs with higher placed teams supposedly to strengthen the competition, well so I’m lead to believe.
