Re: SAASL B&F Awards
Was a tad surprised at that. I couldn't see the point of SAASL lambasting them in front of the clubs that did show up however.crue head wrote:Fair few clubs didn't show up last night.
And yes, Bodo was there.
I know I am a cheeky little devil but has anyone seen Mike Hunt in the car park?

rather than do that, just fine the clubs that didn't rock up.

A magician on the field and a legend off it. Vipers won 2 out of the three awards for the division, and in hindsight probably should've won the league... Not bad for a team that was supposed to get relegated![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

Re: SAASL B&F Awards
This might seem a stupid question but do the SAASL give medals to the players of the championship winning teams, inc reserves??
Re: SAASL B&F Awards
I think the SAASL provides a set number of medals - 16 or so. Clubs distribute to whoever they want.Ronnie Rosenthal wrote:This might seem a stupid question but do the SAASL give medals to the players of the championship winning teams, inc reserves??

Re: SAASL B&F Awards
I believe it is 16. lol I have them here but haven't actually counted them. When I got home I showed them to my wife and told her each medal was for each time I was voted man of the match and the plaque was for having the most all season. She said "you're kidding"

3 WAY DRAW.
STEVEN STEFANOPOULOS VIKINGS
JOSH HILDITCH - WEST BEACH
DAVID MOONEY - SOUTHERN KNIGHTS
Pretty surprising to have 3 players this year win it, hope the year book has enough room??
well done to PAUL EBOMO for the div 1 title.
Re: SAASL B&F Awards
Adam Dunt was also only 1 point behind all these guys! It very much could have been a 4 way tie!
Good on ya Dunty a great year, looking forward to next year with all our new recruits.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

They do give a set number, but you can also get more medals but you pay for each extra one that you order.Rob Lozza wrote:I think the SAASL provides a set number of medals - 16 or so. Not suprised clubs don't turn up, usually way after last game, including Cup Finals, a week night? And not overly formal etc, change all of that and more will turn up
