Neil Halstead - Hi Low And In Between
Story in the news today about a kid possibly adrift on a helium balloon (aparently a fake story )
This song is about a guy who tied balloons to a deckchair (used in the movie Danny Deckchair I think ).

I've read it twice now.

KISS - Modern Day Delilah from the new album SONIC BOOM.

Which is surprisingly quite good, Toomy Thayer and Eric Singer really make a difference when comparing to Psycho Circus.

Matt Finish - Short Note

This song brings back quite a few good and sad memories from the early eighties.
Saw Matt Finish live quite a few times and thought they would have been huge.
Sadly Matt Moffitt passed away in his sleep in 2003 at the age of 46 (seven days short of his 47th birthday).
His friend and drummer from Matt Finish, John Prior added some orchestration to the version of
Short Note in this clip

I still have my vinyl copy of their album Sheet Music, that contains Wall Street Shuffle, in my shed.
One of my favourite tracks at the time was...

Image
10CC - Somewhere In Hollywood
So many styles of music in one song.....they paved the way for Bohemian Rhapsody.

I ended up buying, and still have, the Gizmotron that Lol Creme & Kevin Godley invented for guitar and used on the album.

Also have a Stylophone that Rolf Harris used to promote, somewhere in the shed ! David Bowie used one on the start of Space Oddity.
