It appears a number of trials are basically happening at the same time which may cause issues for some. ie go for a trial at one club get a way through the process, dont make it and then not having your second option to go to?

So it would be important to select the right club as your first option, which isnt always easy seeing you dont know exactly what your up against in regards to other players trialing

Adelaide City - Junior Boys 2010 Trials - September 8, 2009

Adelaide City Football Club would like to invite players to the trials for the 2010 season.

They will be held at the Adelaide City Junior Football Club grounds at Ground Park 19, Unley Road, Adelaide (Between South Terrace And Greenhill Road)

Trial dates and times are as follows:
U16 and U17: Monday 21st of September at 6:30pm.
U12 to U15: Sunday 11th of October at 10:00am.

Players will be given further details including future trial dates and times at the first session.

U6 to U11 positions will be advertised at a later date if vacancies in the current teams occur.

Please complete the registration form available from the ACFC website http://www.acfcjuniors.com.au and bring it to the first session, according to the age group.

Western Toros will be holding their 2010 Junior Trials at their home ground - Pennington Oval, Collins Street Pennington - on the following dates and times.

All players will be required to complete registration 30 minutes prior to trial start time.

Boots and shin pads are required to be worn.

Please Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, all trials will be held at our Regency Park grounds.

Croydon Kings Junior FC trials for season 2010 will be conducted at its Regency Park grounds due to both pitches at Polonia being resurfaced and prepared for next seasons games.

Younger age groups will be introduced to a "come & try" process, which will include games & examples of training.

The older age groups will trial at Regency Park which will allow the use of both pitches so that adjoining age groups trial along side each other. This will allow Coaches & Development Coaches to analyse player abilities of similar ages better, and thus give talented players an opportunity to play up a level.

Don't know why Adelaide City even bother with trials. Most boys don't even get the chance to put their bags down before being told they are not requited. Why don't AC just poach the palyers they want and not waste everyone's valuable time with fantom trials?
