Bigpond you information guru. Have you debriefed RTF on all these rumours/truemours yet? It looks like the advertiser backed at least one of your predictions today... I might have to start listening to you a bit more :P

brooksey still at vale, but wanted as player by another 1st div club.
rob watkins at westies
westerveldt only a maybe to stay at florina, this one makes sense due to winning league plus still great player.must be in demand.
gardens might turn to frenchy or simo to install some much needed discipline, or the one i heard last night was a certain chris groom.
scott gannon going to modbury fedz
st peters coach to easties.
lots of rumours last night, to be fair it was more entertaining listening than watching the game.
going to the final next week to hopefully see a farm win.
Care to tell us which club????

The other 9 clubs would probably open their doors to him!

Have you applied for a gig anywhere else RobinFriday??

Hard luck about the Inter job. Was one of the hardest Div 1 leagues for a while I think.

Why do you say that Jay? What was so hard? The standard in my opinion was weaker than in previous years.

Hard Luck? when you pay 4 players a fair whack per game for 6 weeks and still get relegated where does luck come into it?

The competition was far more even than in the 3 previous years that I have seen Div 1. Whilst USC Lion ended up comfortably relegated, they weren't an easy game. Inter had a poor start and picked up points towards the end with their recurits. Pontian and Vale all took points off the top teams, Fulham who a few thought would struggle just missed out on 3rd, Gardens were looking pretty good until a few injuries and Westies were very strong for the first half of the year and then as it went on, they seemed to lose interest. There was one round where the bottom 4 teams all took 3 points and the 4 of the top 5 lost.

Why do you think it was weaker?

The hard luck for Brad is that if those 4 players had been with him at the start of the year, they probably wouldn't of been relegated. Their reserves beat us twice this year which hasn't happened to an Ingle Farm ressies team in the last 7 years.

Plus the term hard luck is a figure of speach probably taken out of context here. If you would prefer, I'll go with condolences on losing the position :)

time to regroup for next year

in the end it was our inability to score goals which cost us in the end, ( and not for lack of trying either )
defensively we were solid , as the table shows we had the better goal difference than the bottom 4 teams , just not enough points on board.

For the record AOM my understanding is only 2 players were paid and it was not a fair whack per game compared to what some other Sunday Div 1 clubs offered

Dear violin supporters, the term hard luck should be banned from all quotations relating to the relegation of a team....more like poor coaching........

bring out the violins kids, karma bit someone in the ass again

They played more than 6 games didnt they? we played them round 12, and their newbie$ were there already means at least 7 games, pretty sure they had played before that also

Those 4 players mentioned came to us at halfway through the season.
All 4 played against PHW whilst couple of them played the week before against USC Lion
So its more than 6 games.
