16 A relegation battle

Post by sgt peppers »

This weekend is the last round of games and there is a 3 way battle for the 2nd last spot in the 16 A Group.

Campbelltown, Metro Stars and Gawler are on 19 points , seperated by goal difference.

Its too hard to call to determine which team is going to finish 2nd last as I assume each of these teams will call on help from players that have been playing up during the year.

Metro have been bringing players down for weeks. When they played Para they had a 17 man squad and two keepers. One of the lads they brought down was captain for the day. Pretty sad for the regulars that sat on the bench

personally I think Adelaide hills are a pretty good side, and will take Campbelltown 3-1
Adelaide city should get over Gawler comfortably, but Gawler at Gawler are their bogey side
Salisbury and Metro to draw 1-1

Campbelltown and Salisbury to go down,

that player played the week before against b.e and showed his class.against para he was well put off his game and physically struggled to cope with close attention.mind u anyone would struggle against his marker...

Yes agreed robin, he is a class player and had close attention all day . Mind you they both know each other and they both gave as good as they got.. I think the ref that day would agree.

Campbelltown lost 4-0 to Adelaide Hills :(

A year without Campbelltown in the A's.

LOL. I didn't look at the results as I was still drunk on Sunday, but I just saw the final table. Well done.

Goddamn pigs always let you down.
