Spoc have ours this Saturday in the Lion. Should be a great night with plenty of food and booze available. I was pushing for a points per game winner, coz I have no chance. Maybe we need to impliment more drinking games to keep me interested.

Anyone care to share how clubs make theirs a good night? i.e different way of doing the count, 'special' awards, drinking games....

heard the committee has appealed amateur league decision and are still waiting on a reply heard they had some good points within their own policies to fight with

what are you smoking???? The whole issue is around the fact that Raptors got 3 points from a game where they 'illegally' fielded an 'ineligible' player... So as far as the rules of the game say MPCSC already got enough "results" to stay in div.2! How can they be CHEATS by appealing a decision made by the SAASL?

(and just for the record Im not a MP player/member... but I think the league needs to realize if they make a decision to deduct points from one team for a breach of rules then they need to be consistent with that decision and punish any other team the same way for the same breach of rules)

Knights presentation was a good night.....my partner is away for 4 days and my boys are at their Nan's and sadly I've arrived home to find our little shiatzu/malteze Gizmo has passed away
My youngest lad was so upset that Gizzie couldn't go with then to his Nan's.
It's going to be hard telling them

RIP Gizmo...

I think you will also find it is not only MPCSC who have a complaint with the SAASL at this point in time. Also, if you knew the story you would know know MP were contacted by other clubs who were putting in complaints about this situation and requested MP's support.

Robbie Williams Cleaned up at Vista's presentation. A team players player and best & fairest. A great season for him and is the 2nd time he has achieved this.
