Attention all Downs Supporters

Sunday the 27th September our first team are playing in the Cup Final against Ingel Farm- for those who didnt know.

The club has organised a supporters bus leaving the club at around Midday (12pm) to take us to Hindmarsh and then bring us back after the game.

Cost is $10 per person.

Seats are limited to 49 at this stage, but if we can get numbers up to around 90 then we can put a second bus on, but we need to know ASAP. Please call me on 0422 119 413 to book your spot and i will need the money to secure it.

Please get the word around that the bus is organised.

The players will be on thier own bus comped by the club.

if you get another bus will it be leaving later? as the downs junior presentations are on the same day there would be a few people who would like to spend some time their and then head down to hindmarsh i would of thought, especially as some first team players are junior coaches and parents.

Its a later kick off as the U18 E&D final is on that day also. Kick off will be 4:30pm at this stage

Its leaving at 2pm form the club, and its our junior preso so the bar will be open early.

If you actually knew how big our junior preso was, you would understand!

The CANTEEN will be open for the kids at 10- they usaually get a free sausage, drink and iceblock as well.

The BAR for us big boys will be open, i would think, around 11, oh and for all the parents that come out for Junior Preso Day.

Overall will be a great day for the club as a whole!

Rexie I am wandering down with the family about 1.30. The lovely wife wanted to drive as she is starting a new job monday at bloody ingle farm of all places and she knows the bus will be at least 3 hours getting home with all the piss stops,You will find Legga in the Joiners Arm Hotel at about 1.30 so get the buses to rock up there and enjoy a bevy or 3 before kick off you should get there about 3 and I am sure they will be cheaper than Hindmarsh. I rang the boozer and she said they will be open and she is waiting to see a head to head 10 schooner club with Ingle Farm. That goes to all you ingle dingles as well get in have a laugh and then enjoy the Mighty Downs smashing Ingle Farm.. I am going to see if I can get Downslow man to come along Ive got some latvian vodka he can try. If not I can always bring dave miller for everyones enjoyment. I will see what mood I wake up in...Downs to win 3 nil with a banya hatrick...
