I'm so sick of Italy's performances under Lippi, i cant think of one game since he has been back where we have actually played well and dominanted. We always seem to be scraping through every single game and i think come World Cup we're going to get smacked because we are shit and he continues playing these players who are well past it.

I missed the game last night, I was out until late celebrating - but not wanting to miss any more Nazionale action and just watched some extended highlights. And I have to say I agree.

We just don't dominate games like we should be - i for one am still calling for Cass and Pazzini!
I still don't reckon we'll get smacked in SA. When we're up against it we're likely to perform as parts of history show! So hopefully we'll be ok. I suppose it just depends on who is chosen come next June!

I think Lippi is just arrogant and is too stubborn to change his tatics from those that won us the World Cup, the way we play just isnt enjoyable and to make it worse it isnt even effective either. Atleast with how Chelsea used to play it was shit to watch but it got them the Premier League title but with Italy at the moment we play shit and just narrowly scrape through on what quality we do have.
