Hos is right. Unspectacular but solid win.
The wind caused some trouble.
We werent good, but SC were just awful.
At one stage, their striker was more interested in complaining to the ref
about about a foul throw a minute earlier than getting involved in his treams break forward.
Ive never seen it.
Build a fence, train a dog or hire some of the young riff-raff in the area to be ball-boys.
On more than one occasion yesterday, SC players wanted us to retrieve balls we had just put out for a throw.
Thought he was kidding the first time.
I wouldnt get a ball for you thats a yard away.
No 7 wanted me to run off 10 metres or so into the scrub so they could take a quick throw.
Not a bad bunch of lads though.

Thrilled with Beograds win.
Helps us alot.
Athelstones has a woeful g/d and have got BE and us still to play.
SC ditto on g/d vs Bosna and Asteras

Easy 3 points for us next week.

yes. lots of complaining all game. ref was dreadful and at times had both teams scratching their heads. but no excuses croatia took their chances and we didnt same old story week in week out this year. now we got 2 tough games to try and stay up

I've seen alot worse in my time...but about as good as your linesman. He had no influence on the result, but yes, consistency wasn't his strong point.

no, didnt have an impact. although 1st goal was from a free kick that even big Nick up front said was no foul, but our poor reaction to the deflection led to the goal and the other goal was an error from our keeper. but regardless of the goals you cant win games if you dont score.....

Was a great game and the submarine Elvis stepped up with 3 quality goals of his own. Could have been a few more but theAsteras keeper had a good game and made some good saves. Asteras still a quality side and showed good sportsmanship (with the exception of their linesman  ) but it all went right for us for a change.
Fair assesment.
MU deserved everything they got, maybe more. Asteras couldnt match the hunger, determination and agression for the ball showed by MU.
I hope you guys partied long and hard into the night, well deserved.

As for us. There goes our promotion chance, we were kidding ourselves really.
For a team that doesnt even train once a week......we were always going to be found out at the business end.

dont think your promotion chances are quite done yet. only one point behind us and we got brahma away who we havnt beat at their ground in years and blue eagles at home who are no pushovers and beat us well first round. Even if we win both and brahma win their last one it comes down to goal diference which is even between us at the moment.

I think it would be a shame for anyone togo up or down coz the rivalry and derbies this year have been awesome  good luck

Dont get me wrong, we'd still love to finish as high as we can. We;re still gunning for 3rd, but automatic promotion is out of our hands now. And as for 3 going up this year like last:

For that to happen, a non-relegated Div2/promoted Div3/relegated Div1 club would have to
1. fold; 2. move to sat; 3. move to feds.

So on the current ladder (considering it may change) the 10 clubs for Div2 next year look like:
Sals Inter, Lion, TTG, Mod Vista, Sth Knights, Eliz Grove, Raptors, PHE, Bosna, Brahma.

Not sure the above would happen.
But like I said we aim for 3rd spot (or the hail mary 2nd) either way.

I have also heard that 3 teams might be promoted from Div3, one club is considering moving over to Saturdays.
