I don't have any time at all for Babel. He doesn't deserve the chance to play behind/next to Torres or anywhere else on the park in my opinion.
i rated babel, always sed give him a chance but hes had too many chances, sorta like tom hawkins at geelong lol too many chances n doesnt do it
sum1 sed pool shoulda gone 4 anotha striker, maybe so, but wat bout yosi, i rkn hes been great when hes played for the scum
Yossi does deserve to start most games. Another striker wouldn't go amiss though. As of right now I think our strongest line up looks like this:

-----------------Reina-----------------
-Johnson---Carra--Skrtel---Insua-
-Kuyt----Gerrard--Masch----Riera-
--------------Benayoun--------------
----------------Torres----------------

Obviously this is taking into account current injuries (Agger, Aurelio, Aquilani). Lucas misses out for Gerrard. Not because he's useless (as many/all think), but simply because with him and Mascherano in the midfield there isn't enough creativity and Mascherano is better at what he does than Lucas. Ergo Lucas makes his way to the bench.

Babel hasn't proven that he's good enough to start (in any position). He doesn't get involved enough and I think his attitude is crap (purely because of his body language and effort on the field). I'm not going to speak like I know what he's like off the field. Too often people think they know what footballers are like purely because of what they read online. So this assumption is based purely on what I see of him on the field.

Yeah i suppose you're right, Babel has had his chance to prove himself. Yossi is a much much better player. I think Lucas is a good player, just not as good as masch or gerrard....

That team looks bare without Xabs. lol

Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of fucking car keys now, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-fucking-spicuous now, is it?

No player stays forever and it's part of a coach's job to either find a direct replacement or change the style the team plays to accommodate the loss of a player. Pool and Man U both struggling at the moment to find a settled formation but it'll come. Same will PROBABLY apply to Man City. All will be stronger later in the season IMO.
