SUNDAY DIV 2 ROUND 16

Post by jogger »

Raptors v San Marco - Raptors to lose 3 points for fielding an ineligable player but to gain them back here!!
TTG v PHE - PHE with a big result last week and probably have done enough with the goal difference to stay up but TTG to take all 3 points here.
MP v West Beach - MP in big trouble (and hurting even more when key players don't turn up) and one would expect Beach to take all 3 points and march towards div 1.
Vikings v Vista - tough one for Vikings but I think they will be too good for Vista. Should they win, well done to Vikings and I will see you boys again next year
Knights v Grove - If knights have all their players back and fight I think they will be too strong but I doubt if they will so I'm predicting a draw

Raptors vs San Marco - Raptors have the home ground advantage but it may suit San Marco. Honestly I have no idea but I'm hoping a draw. 2-2

Munno Para vs West Beach - Beach right back in the hunt to take out the league and Munno Para battling to get off bottom should make for a tough physical contest. I think Beach will win but it wont be by much. Beach 2-1

Vikings vs Vista - Tough game to call. Vikings back on their carpet like pitch  will knock the ball around well. Vista will be up for it though and I think their forward who scored against us will cause their defence major headaches. If Vista can hold firm in the midfield they could snatch the win. Vista 2-1

Knights vs Grove - Grove seem to have lost their early season momentum and Knights is always a tough road trip. Knights to take it out 3-1

Us vs Gully - The lads put in the hard yards on Sunday and came away with that elusive win (finally!!). Gully are in great form though and we are expecting a tough game thats for sure. We will be looking to avenge the late defeat at our ground last time. As long as we keep our discipline :D and put in the effort we did last week I think we can get something out of this game. Us 1-0

Apparently he got another two on the weekend. Two braces out of two for the youngster. With Scott G back too I could definitely see them causing their BIG backline a work out. :P Watch out though Vista Boys; if you are beating them they may call you zucchinis, turnips or some other nasty name.

Yeah he has 11 now he passed Big Al with the 2 on the weekend... He could have quite easily had 5 on the weekend, he's in top form

Raptors v San Marco - Draw - it will make the last couple of games very interesting
TTG v Para Hills East - TTG easily, playing really well and East will think they have done enough after last week
Munno Para v West Beach - This is it for us, nothing else but a win will do, we are due and if we dont stand up and show some club pride this week we can kiss the season good bye and Div 3 next season it is.
Vikings v Vista - Vista - I think the wheels have fallen off at Vikings and they won't win another game this year!
Knights V Grove - Knights could win with 8 players and swannsong in goals with a blindfold on.

Raptors v San Marco - Both teams need to win to stay in Div 2, Raptors to come up with the goods with the home ground advantage.
TTG v PHE - TTG will be too strong at home.
MP v West Beach - MP NEED this win but will be hard against a strong West Beach side. As Jogger said, if key players don't show up then it's back to Div 3.
Vikings v Vista - Vikings are still in great form, cannot tip against them.
Knights v Grove - Knights will be hard at home, Gully travel well. Draw.

Are you serious that players from MP simply didn't rock up last week? Really poor if so.

Raptors v San Marco - Raptors 2-0. San Marco are struggling to score goals. Only 13 so far.
T.T.G v P.H.E - Gully 2-1. At home I think we'll be too strong, but a close one.
M.P v West Beach - Beach 3-1. As they push for promotion I think they'll be too good for Para.
Vikings v Vista - Vikings 2-0. I can't really tip against them to be honest.
Knights v Grove - Knights 3-2. Tough trip for any side but the Grove didn't give up against the Gully even at 0-3 down last week so I'll go the Knights in a thriller.

True, but there are reasons which you can accept and others that are unacceptable!!

If what I was told about this incident is true then it can't go unpunished by the club. Personally, I hope it is wrong because I rate this bloke.

Raptors v San Marco - San Marco 3-1
T.T.G v P.H.E - East to win just 2-1
M.P v West Beach - Para 1-0
Vikings v Vista - Vista going well at the moment 2-1
Knights v Grove - Knights at home easily 3-0

Raptors v San Marco - San Marco 3-1, could be like watching Thai Boxing this games, there will be kicks flying everywhere, and joey to dive away from them!!
T.T.G v P.H.E - Gullies 4-1
M.P v West Beach - Beach easily, scoreline tba
Knights v Grove - Knights at home easily 3-0
Vikings v Vista - should be a cracker, vikings pitch is similiar to vista in size, unlike vista's i think Vikings will have grass on theirs, only 1 game this year have we been outplayed and never looked in it and it was against vikings, thats enough motivation for us boys to come out ready to play, no scoreline, 3 points will be fine
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

T.T.G v P.H.E - 2-0
M.P v West Beach - 3-2
Vikings v Vista - 4-0

As I said, I hope this is true!! I rate the bloke and I believe he is the difference between MP getting the points to stay up or going down.

That is a very big call especially in a sport where there are 10 other blokes on the field, obviously players can have an impact but he isn't superman. Perhaps dirty laundry should be aired in your backyard and not on a public forum, trust me it does your club no favours!

Raptors v San Marco - Raptors should get up, San Marco wont win a game for the rest of the year!

TTG v PHE - Draw, East should be hungry after a great result last week and are the draw specialist's.

MP v West Beach - Think Munno Para at home could get all 3 points, they play there ground well and are a tough team.

Vikings v Vista - Vista with players coming back and in good form to get the points, especially if its a nice pitch.

Knights v Grove - Knights too good, Grove in a bad patch and cant see it turning around this week.

Raptors v San Marco - 1-2, should be very close San Marco push the ball around well & may just pull this one off

Tee Tree Gully v Para Hills East - 3-2 - another close one Para coming off a very good win over the league leaders however Gully also playing very well & with a couple of players back this week should just get the points

Munno Para v Weast Beach - 1-3 - Beach should be to good for Munno Para

Vikings v Modury Vista 1-2 - another very tight game hopefully Vista can take the points & keep the 2 promotional positions still up in the air for another week

Southern Knights v Elizabeth Grove 3-1 - The wheels have fallen off at the Grove Knights to take the points easily & the Grove to complain about the linesman again

First time we played Grove we were very lucky to win, so I'm not quite as confident as everyone else, also depends on who may or may not be available for the Knights
