great to see the two div 4 teams make it to the semis, but unfortunately don't think either will go any further. Athelstone might push gardens but hard to go past the div 3 league premiers.

well as far as i know yeh pitch conditions..
was gonna be played at parahills ..but then got changed to modbury!
think its a good idea.. neutral venue and good pitch conditions!

No complaints here on neutral venue and providing the best surface possible for a semi... Just a bit of a trek for some people on a week night thats all

Still i'll be along, know a couple of players from both teams so should be a good night out

I have to agree with you Nancy Lorraine - its good when you live in that area

The pitch isn't the best playing surface but it will definatley hold up for 2 games and not turn up too much unlike SAWSA park last year

does anyone know why they give teams a 6:00pm time slot do SAWSA think that people dont work full time.

because they are playing double headers i would assume!
Kind of goes both ways.. Have to start at 6 and leave work early ..
or have to move the last game back to 8:30 - 9 and you wont be finished until midnight if they go to penalties! With work the next day!

i disagree.
i think any workplace would rather let you leave an hour or so early, than not have you rock up at all the next day!
but maybe thats just my workplace.

I think any workplace would prefer that, but I also know my work place would tell me to get stuffed if I asked to leave an hour earlier whereas if if I called in sick the next day they're none the wiser.

very average is a compliment. Terrible would be more accurate..........and only likely to get worse in this weather.
Can't believe there is no where in better condition

it is the end of the season... we cant expect anywhere to be in perfect condition...
plus not everywhere has lighting suitable for night games, we just need to be thankful that there was an option other than sawsa available for games to be played on.

I admit I haven't seen the SAWSA pitch, so I'll trust your judgement on that.
