Knights v Ingle farm

Should be a good game played out at the farm. Long journey for the knights hopefully to come through with a result our way.

Knights just lost to one of the bottom teams in div2. Hardly a shoe in......
Farm have the quality and possibly more importantly the fitness to overcome the knights.

Have faith Emirates. If anyone can fire the boys up, its Simo. He is one of the best coaches in the league and I'm sure he already has plans A, B and C ready for Sunday plus a big gee up speech prepared. I know all the players were very disappointed with last weeks result and keen to make it up this week against Knights.

It will be a very tough game but I think/hope we will overcome the Knights.

East boy you are correct we are not a shoe in at all, But on the subject of losing to the bottom team, they are that one team in div 2 that every year for some reason we struggle against, cannot seem to play are normal game against.
Not sure if the fitness is an issue either.. As underdogs there isn't anything to loose and we will make sure we put in for this one.

So whats happened in the last few weeks Jay has Simmo not been getting the boys up or are they not interested. Maybe your trainer needs to get the boys some nasil spray

Just a form slump more than anything. Didn't put the chances away against Vale, the Inter game we only played well for 50% and was lucky not to lose and unlucky not to win, Pontian game we played well and they took 2 of their 4 chances, we took 1 of our 8-10 and Lion we were just plain ordinary.

Still we are third, have a small chance of still winning the league and are still in the cup. All things considered, we are still having a pretty good year compared to 7 other clubs.

BOSA v. Beograd - BOSA in great form and have quality ball players like Beograd but much fitter.
Ingle Farm v. Southern Knights - Only lost twice at home this year and it is a difficult ground to play on. When we fire on all cylinders, we are up there with the best. Not all cylinders firing at the moment but hopefully that will change this weekend.
Elizabeth Downs v. St Peters - Saints will take it to Downs but I think their defense may struggle with Reeves and the pace out wide of the Downs. Monkey Boy will get a card :D
Salisbury Florina v. Parafield Gardens - Top of the league and winning every week. Hard to see the Gardens stopping them.

(S) Old Ignatians VS Para Hills East East even though its on a Saturday have enough quality to win this one.
Adelaide Vikings VS Munno Para City Vikings are a very dangerous team by all accounts and wouldn't surprise me to see them in the final.
(S) FC Adelaide VS Elizabeth Vale - Best reserves team in Sat Div should easily knock of a young Vale ressies side.
Ingle Farm VS St Peters Old Collegians - Starting to get back to the way we know we can play. At home, hopefully we get the win.

When Ingle Farm take on Southern Knights this Sunday in the SAASL Challenge Cup Quarter Finals it will be only the third time these two clubs have met.
Previously they met in Division 2 in 2006, Southern Knights defeated Ingle Farm at home 3-2 and Ingle Farm defeated Southern Knights 3-1 at their home ground.
Current Knights player Sandy Neary was also part of Ingle Farm's 2004 Division 3 Championship team.
This is also the first Southern Knights have advanced to the Quarter Finals of the Cup since their formation in 1995.
Southern Knights Reserves managed to reach the Cup Quarter finals in 2008 only to lose 3-5 to Elizabeth Vale in extra time.

Will it depend on availability? There's 3 Saturday games and 5 Sunday games.

BOSA v. Beograd - I think BOSA are one of the best teams that we have played. Dont know much about Beograd, but I believe they have some decent older players. BOSA home ground will be a massive advantage and their midfield will dominate.
Ingle Farm v. Southern Knights - Southern Knights not in great form and the moment and needed to be in order to have the confidence to beat a div 1 side. Farm will focus on the cup now seeing as their title hopes are all but gone...
Elizabeth Downs v. St Peters - Gotta go for us dont I?? It will be a tough game for us as we are not in the best form and have some players missing. A big result with Downs losing last week which means they will be even harder to beat. We'll just be looking to play at our absolute best so we can be competitive. I'm calling a penalty win to us....
Salisbury Florina v. Parafield Gardens - Florina far to good, but Gardens are 'cup specialists' :?: so wouldnt surprise me if they snatched it on penalties.

Was a 100% correct assesment. I've never seen a ground that bounces so much. Our boys didn't seem to cope well...
BOSA's midefielders were much much fitter than the guys we had playing in the middle today and basically won the game for BOSA. I think all three of their goals came from the middle.

Geepers sorry knight 25? Anyone might think there have been some posts on the knights poor form or maybe you just have some sand in your Vagina???
Upon doing some research, i must admit that that comment was purely on the back of the Raptors result....But then again the two games before that you had two wins from sides in a relegation battle.... So well done to you.... from there you pulled a 1-1 draw at your home (massive advantage) then a 4-1 thumping by Vikings. So in summary, you are in "good" form, but it has been a while since you have played a decent team and even then you couldnt say it was great? But anyway good luck....

BOSA do have a very very good midfield and they really need to have an off game if you have any chance.

Good to see an honest post with no excuses!!!

In a first for the majority of us playing today, we had three official refs at a Saturday game. Must say it didn't stop people having a go at the linesman though

Ingle Farm ( 4 ) Southern Knights ( 3 ) after extra time.

Southern Knights bowed out of the Cup gracefully after leading Ingle Farm 1-3 at one stage.
A soft dismissal at around the 65-70th minute unbalanced the game and allowed Farm eventually equalize and then to take control.

get over it, stick your photo's on and move on
