bresciano out wide, not fast enough, culina will drop in standard from playing in the A league,i dont think he will be ahaed of the likes of a few other centre midfielders.I like Valeri better.

Indeed! Agree he's better in central position but what a play maker. A player who can do the unpredictable.

Yeh sorry forgot strevoski.
The topic was meant to get your starting 11 on the pitch.

And yeh not really a fan of holman but anyone to get a game in the socceroos at the moment has to be half decent.

Valeri is on the way to Parma, Bologna, Livorno or another Serie A side - will be good for him to be playing top level the year before a WC.

team would be
GK:
schwarzer
Jones
Petkovic/Galekovic/Covic-maybe Federici even

Defence:
Wilkshire
Neill
Moore
Chipperfield
Stefanutto
North
Williams
Kisnorbo
Coyne

Midfield:
Kewell
Cahill
Bresciano
Culina
Emerton
Grella
Valeri
Carney
Sterjovski

Strikers:
Kennedy
Mcdonald

put Viduka in for Carney if fit
holman, burns, carle, jedinak, djite, aloisi on stand by, or swap in another striker for coyne, kisnorbo or north.

i think stick with the tried and trued players playing a 4-2-3-1, that is why only 2 strikers listed with cahill, kewell or sterjovski to do a job as well.
there will be many retirements after this world cup so our 2014 squad will be very different and verbeek will have to make sure he chosen the right young players to fill the void.
