1 - this 'knob' set up the winning goal.......

2 - do yourself and your club a favour by not discussing a lack of sportsmanship.... you will recall that on 2 ocassions, your players went down injured and we put the ball out of play. when our centre back went down and consequently replaced, instead of giving the ball back you launched an attack.....
Mega Bonor, this Knob and I am glad that we can all agree that this particular player is a Knob, took more dives than that queer bloke that won gold for Australia in the last Olypics.
Now just like that bloke that won gold for Australia, number 11's pike was absolutely fanatasic.
I would also imagine that your number 11 is just like that queer diver

Skippsy galaipsy no. 11

I think Knights need an exorcist to get rid of the ISC Raptors demons....they have a way of lifting when they meet Southern Knights.
Two well taken goals for Raptors....( possibly 3 ).
Knights looked very unsettled with forced changes and several positional changes and Raptors keeper just had "one of those days" when things go your way.
Shame, a few results went Knights way today (except our own.).
Hopefully a better showing when Knights travel to Ingle Farm ( the big IF ).

PS - Back in 2007 as a then neutral observer, I would say that Raptors were awarded a goal after the ball passed through a hole in the side netting......but that's done and dusted.

I remember that. Someone responded to a complaint about it on this forum that the Knights should spend more time putting nets on posts than posts on the net

good win by the boys today & two on the trot now means we take some much needed confidence into Florina this week. Great to see Cocky back on the score sheet with a nice double, Fozzie with the other & Pauly was class again!

credit must go to the ref we had today. 2nd time we have had him this year & he had another good game, we just need more of them in the league

Attention turns to the cup this week & its ours we dont want to let it go :D

I just looked at the Sunday Premier table on the SAASL website. It would be hard for Florina to lose the title now, no?

Great day out for both Raptors sides as we came away with maximum points.

the a's game was its usual tight tussle but we got the win thanks to two nice headers from two perfect balls from the left. knights had their chances but our defence stood firm to keep our first clean sheet of the season  (i think)

certainly one of our better all round team efforts for the year

i think with this win and other results were now off bottom :D
Unfortunetly for the knights we had a bad day. Our goalie is interstate with work and our b team keeper was with a work course so we had to put a player in goal, and to top it off we have injuries from the previous game against munno para.. This is no excuse but we had a team line up that was 5 players different from our previous good run.
Raptors as i have said have always been our tough team to overcome. They always seem to put a good fight against our team every year and good credit to them.
We missed to many oppurtunities today and we got punished by two crosses and two good goals. The number 11 for raptors is the biggest CHEAT in the division 2.. He even coped a yellow for diving and was lucky to see the end of the first half with out the second yellow being shown. You will remember him by the guy with a big enough nose that he gets mistaken for 'Mr squiggle'.. Every game we have played raptors this knob always tries a dive in the box he is the only player for their team that lets their club down. With saying that i hope just for his case they go down as i will laugh about his big nose all the way to div 3
Always so much controversy in this now infamous and un-assuming derby.. I heard Raptors tried something different and played their reserves side because they were top?? If so, this win would be even more embarassing for a knights team pushing for that second promotional spot

Munno para keeper got sent off against the knights last week. Does this mean their 2nd keeper also got shown the red??
Sucked in to their supporters, i bet they opened their big mouths again before loosing.
If they lost 0-1 then they would of hardly had time to 'open their big mouths' (and losing has one 'O' )

What's with the keeper being sent off week in & out? Last week & I'm sure a few weeks ago it happened as well!

Div 9 C2

Eliz Downs 3
Munno Para 1

A much more even game played this time, with MP making the Maroons earn the win today. Game played in great spirits, ref played well, only handed out 2 yellows, 1 for back chat, the other for using the 'C' word on the pitch!
Good luck to the rest of your season boys.

Great free kick by Azza, but why was the keeper standing behind his wall.... if he was standing where he should have been (to the right of the wall), would have been a simple pary... oh well.

vista v east - scrappy surface made it a scrappy game, after a slow start vista took control of the game and fought hard for the win, which is a credit to easties. unfortunately the ref wanted to make a name for himself with stupid soft free kicks and yellow cards, i think a total of 9 or 10 shown for the game, Good luck to easties for the rest of the year and Saggsy, hope the jatz crackers are ok!!!!!

Most of those cards were rediculous. The game was played in quite a good spirit with only a couple of bad challenges in the whole game.

Mega

1) The ironic thing about Joey or "the knob" as we all know him by now is he could be a very good player if he didn't spend so much time diving - I remember him whe he played at Payenham Postel he took a dive in the penatly box in the last 2 minutes to get them draw and he has gone from bad to worse

2) Mega in the last 15 minutes your guys were going down like flys - including Joey again pretending someone hit him! We wish! And your keeper who looked like he got shot only to jump back up (after we gave the ball back) and look 100% - if you are going to play that way then eventually teams won't give you the ball back - being a teacher i'm sure you know the story of the boy that cried wolf

Hey Ronnie 10,

I heard last night there could be internal damage but will not know for sure until he sees the orthopedic surgon in a couple of weeks. He will be out for the rest of the season I suspect.
Thanks for asking

yep, last 3 games have seen red for MP keepers. First one was for bringing down the striker in the box (questionable), last week was bringing down the striker about 25 yards out as the last man and then this week was a kick/trip to the striker while the keeper had the ball in his hand (something happened to make the keeper react this way, heard it was a shirt punch). Not sure about the first send off but the last two weeks can not be argued.

Quite unique in the amatuer league where you find a player that can hit a free-kick just as good with his weaker foot... a lovely player. Played you guys in the cup last round and thought you were a great bunch of boys.... hope you take out the crown!!!!

Ingle Farm v USC Lion

First Team 2-3
Wow, probably our worst performance since Paul took over coaching the club 6 years ago. Second to the ball, missing passes, not taking chances. I again didn't get to see much of it but from what I did see and hear from our supporters, it was a disappointing display. With both us, Westies and Downs losing, we basically have given Florina the biggest leg up to win Div 1. The boys know they didn't play well and were pretty shattered after the game. Lion were pretty happy and so they should be. We have to pick ourselves up. There is a slight chance we can still win the league but we have second spot to play for as well as a big quarter final cup round this week.

Reserves 5-0
A good first half by our guys but we took the foot off the pedal in the second. Another good all round display from the boys who are starting to look like the Farm reserve team of the last few years. Lion never gave up and kept trying but we had enough guys who won thier position on the day to make it count.

C's 1-2
We were fairly out played by the African bunch who have some very good players. We were missing 4-5 regulars this week and it showed. Struggled to put passes together and turned the ball over to much. We got back into the game with 20 to go and could of stolen a point but with the number of chances they missed, it would of been undeserved. They are quite a physical team and the back of my ankle is still killing me from one kick I got. Nice bunch of guys though and it was good to have a bit of a crowd to play in front of.

Cheers to Redders, Jas and all the boys down there for coming in for a drink. There isn't many of you but probably the best guys off the park out of all the teams. Nearly every one of their first team players stayed around for about an hour or so. Rumours have it that Redders and Billy B were causing a seen at the Goody Hotel later on that night.

Would like to thank robinfriday and his team :D don't have to mention why. Still not over and we know that. Everyone's still got to play alot of football. We can't be too complacent just yet.
In our game, Westies on top firsy half and saw them go ahead 1-0 half way thru the half with a well taken header. We came back into the game last 10 mins of first half but not many chances created by Florina compared to Westies. As for the 4th week in a row, we have gone behind, only to come out in the second half and blitz teams, and Westies was no different. Don't think they knew what hit them as we were on top all half and scoring early in the half to equalise was a good stepping stone. Unfittest team in the league some say, don't think so! Thanx to the westies boys for sticking around after the game and their coach for a chat. The westies boys looked down and out after the game as they let their chance slip by to stay in touch along with the other title contenders, or should i say as marooned says - PRETENDERS. Sorry, had to put that one in  Now to the cup this weekend and with 4 players coming back in, and me having a break, u better bring the beer Gardensgoon :D
Big boutso in golo!
