Pretty sure this result and the san marco game sends Munno Para bottom and would now be favourites for the drop.

Great day out for both Raptors sides as we came away with maximum points.

the a's game was its usual tight tussle but we got the win thanks to two nice headers from two perfect balls from the left. knights had their chances but our defence stood firm to keep our first clean sheet of the season  (i think)

certainly one of our better all round team efforts for the year

i think with this win and other results were now off bottom :D

That puts Florina and Vikings way out in front.

Terrible results for us with San Marco and Raptors jumping over the top.

Wasn't at the Vale-Fulham game but heard after a below average 1st half Fulham came back and pinched a point.

Florina way out in front now but we will make there life difficult in the next game when we play them and not hand them a Sun Div 1 title - they still have to earn it.

Suprising results in div 1 apart from Florina who keep on keeping on.
Not sure if the Downs had a few out for today's game against Inter but it was one of the weaker Downs 1st team I have seen in the last decade. They have plenty of workers but lack a bit of class.
The :clown: that got sent off for head butting pretty much handed 3 points to Inter as they were not going to score after that.

What can be said, not a good day out for the Knights with unfortunate changes to the line up.
Having said that, It was also just one of those days when the ball would not go in the net and in saying so a special mention should go to the Raptors keeper who instead of diving on many occasions just stood still and ended up with the ball in his hands.
Raptors were really unfortunate not to be up one nill at half time if it wasn't for a perfectly timed clearance off the line/or just over :P
I should also mention the ref had a fantastic game, we have had Yuri on many occasions now over the years and he is always very consistant. He really does give everyone a fair go.

gardens v pontian

c's
pontian forfiefted

b's
4-2
paul pond 4
good result for the ressies backing up after last weeks gd result. pondy with 4 finding some form.

a's
3-1
chris cockayne 2, some d i c k with the other.
great day for the club today coming from 1 nil down to score 3 and turn it on in the last 20 mins was great to go along with last weeks last min winner against inter. finally showing a bit of character. credit to pontian who were well structured under pezoz and there goal was hit beautifly. was great for cocky to grab a brace and find the net after an injury plagued couple of years, could see how much it meant for him and the club from the celebrations as he is club favourite and a gardens boy through and through. credit to haywood djablowme and danny riding who played with injuries when they probably shouldnt to have an impact on the result. that win probably seals our survival and we move on to florina next week in the cup. some more crazy results in other games leavin a fair few teams scratching there heads on wat might have been. bring on the bet with m andrea :D

Unfortunetly for the knights we had a bad day. Our goalie is interstate with work and our b team keeper was with a work course so we had to put a player in goal, and to top it off we have injuries from the previous game against munno para.. This is no excuse but we had a team line up that was 5 players different from our previous good run.
Raptors as i have said have always been our tough team to overcome. They always seem to put a good fight against our team every year and good credit to them.
We missed to many oppurtunities today and we got punished by two crosses and two good goals. The number 11 for raptors is the biggest CHEAT in the division 2.. He even coped a yellow for diving and was lucky to see the end of the first half with out the second yellow being shown. You will remember him by the guy with a big enough nose that he gets mistaken for 'Mr squiggle'.. Every game we have played raptors this knob always tries a dive in the box he is the only player for their team that lets their club down. With saying that i hope just for his case they go down as i will laugh about his big nose all the way to div 3

Munno para keeper got sent off against the knights last week. Does this mean their 2nd keeper also got shown the red??
Sucked in to their supporters, i bet they opened their big mouths again before loosing.

@ knight25

1 - this 'knob' set up the winning goal.......

2 - do yourself and your club a favour by not discussing a lack of sportsmanship.... you will recall that on 2 ocassions, your players went down injured and we put the ball out of play. when our centre back went down and consequently replaced, instead of giving the ball back you launched an attack.....
