rule 10.5 states it very VERY clearly.
i feel sorry for killer fox who says he is a cumberland player who has now missed out on the lot.
shame on the coach.
cumberland have been playing ineligable players since round 1
i really hope this catches up with them.
PLAY BY THE RULES, GET THERE FAIRLY!
Agree entirely. Rules is rules.
However, I wonder if people have got their facts right. Whilst some of the 16s have definitely had a run out for the 19s, I don't think any of them have been in the Cup comp (Cove, Seaford then knocked out by Croydon). It's possible of course, but I think that maybe people are getting confused with Luke (GK for 19s) and Jack Schoen (16s)? Will be interested to find out. Anyone know for sure?
Just on a wider point about cup eligibility, my personal opinion is that players, apart from GK, should choose at the beginning of the cup campaign which team they're part of and then stay there. It's wrong that should say the U16s get to the final, the club can then bring up the stars from the U15s (obviously so long as they aren't cup tied). To me, it's neither fair to the opposition, nor to the players in the higher team that get dropped for the final.
