keepers are allowed tp play for u19 and return to u17, but not u16's,
i just read through the rules, and rule 10.5 of player restrictions clearly states this.
i heard that cumberland actually had several players come down to the 16's that were cup tied to the 19's, on field as well as in goal,

good to see junior clubs still care enough about fair sportsmanship to help each other to stop these blatant cheats!!

I am from cumberland under 16 and five of us were told we wasnt in the cup team because they had other players for round 1 and we could play next round but we have missed out all of them
after harvs and jack played under 19 we asked to play but the coach said no they will still play in under 16 because we want the club to get to hindmarsh and seniors is diffrent to juniors so they can still play

LOL. Bet it was Para Hills doing the dobbing. They are not good losers.

Mind you, the juniors don't get a lot of practice!

BIG FELLA is correct
rule 10.5 states it very VERY clearly.
i feel sorry for killer fox who says he is a cumberland player who has now missed out on the lot.

shame on the coach.
cumberland have been playing ineligable players since round 1
i really hope this catches up with them.

PLAY BY THE RULES, GET THERE FAIRLY!

Agree entirely. Rules is rules.

However, I wonder if people have got their facts right. Whilst some of the 16s have definitely had a run out for the 19s, I don't think any of them have been in the Cup comp (Cove, Seaford then knocked out by Croydon). It's possible of course, but I think that maybe people are getting confused with Luke (GK for 19s) and Jack Schoen (16s)? Will be interested to find out. Anyone know for sure?

Just on a wider point about cup eligibility, my personal opinion is that players, apart from GK, should choose at the beginning of the cup campaign which team they're part of and then stay there. It's wrong that should say the U16s get to the final, the club can then bring up the stars from the U15s (obviously so long as they aren't cup tied). To me, it's neither fair to the opposition, nor to the players in the higher team that get dropped for the final.

you may be right NICE ONE CRYIL
but a cumberland player has admitted that there are two other players that have played for the 19s in cup and then came down again to play for the u16s cup.

Any specific teams you talking about? Para u16s have dropped points to Ad City, Salis and Gawler this season and after each game everyone has shaken hands (coaches included) and there have been no incidents. Havent seen any incidents with other age groups down at the paddocks either.

there was nobody from para hills there cyril, well maybe 1 but he's only found out about ineligibility this morning  and true they win more than lose across all age groups and they certainly don't drop loads of players down from higher age groups  , would hate to be one of those cumby 16s not gettin a cup game :(
things happen for a reason

The Whites. Sorry about that, it was said tongue in cheek but I could have phrased it better. It was more a comment on the fact that PH have tied up a finals berth in pretty much every age group apart from the 16s.

I've never had a problem up there either. Good luck for the finals. :D

FFSA have advised Cumberland U16's are through. The names mixup was apparently based on brothers not on players doubling up.

In which case then, I was misinformed since I was told they were in pretty much every other age group finals. I don't follow the younger age results so fell into the trap of believing what I was told.

If five players have not played 1 cup round at all, must be a HUGE squad. Think u might be exaggerating.

The two other players played u 19s in normal round, not cup. Cumberland U19s are out of cup. Guess the player got it wrong.

I am pretty sure Birkalla 14A's played Modbury at Pirates Ground on Sunday, so they may have a catch up game with Cumberland

BOB,
please remember the rubbish you are posting is seen on a JUNIOR FORUM!
I suggest your posts border on the obscene, if you have to post such garbage please keep it to the Wild West. Although we do not know who you are, we do know which club you are associated with, I am sure they are not proud of your vitriol, and should be highly embarrassed on the way you conduct yourself.
Mods..time to step in.
