Heard Benny A got a hand to the penalty you conceded!! wouldn't be a happy boy tonight!!

"a hand" is an understatement, the Vale crowed cheered as we thought he had saved it,only to see the ball spill out and run into the side netting...

Good game to watch, Vale had way more of the run of play but Downs did what was necessary on the day and scored a late winner.

ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE WINS OF THE SEASON - NOT BECAUSE IT WAS CHALLENGING, NOT BECAUSE WE BURIED 4 GOALS PAST THEM - JUST BECAUSE THE MORE WE SCORED THE QUIETER THE FERAL BEARDED KNUCKLE DRAGGING MUNNO PARA SUPPORTERS GOT... it was excellent to see Tony Micallef (last years DIV2 POY) net 2 considering everytime he touched the ball the words 'f@8^kN shithead' could be heard being screeched past women and children by some neanderthal that had more fingers and toes than teeth..

everyone was a bit confused why the MP support kept asking how Panthers are going?? we share the same ground.. thats its.. I would say read up on it, but Im not sure the monkey that was yelling it can read..

** please note** not one Munno para player could be faulted, - IT WAS THEIR SUPPORT! - all of the players shook hands, no crazy tackles - even at 4 nil, and all the knights went in and had a couple of beers with them after the game, I hope you guys stay up - GOOD LUCK FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON! - GET RID OF THE MONKEYS ON THE SIDE!!**
Yes, we experienced that last week, we have had fair bit of rivalry from back in the 5th and 4th division days and their support were always quite good, but now they really are feral, dunno if getting up to the 2nd division has gone to their heads or something.
every club has a monkey .. To TTG, should not judge the club by it's supporters, yes one of our supporters went overboard but at the same time one of your supporters threatened the ref in the A grade and his word to the ref where " you better run to you car". Every club has a bad supporter so don't steriotype the club based on one person. We don't base your club on the one bad supporter. We have a good rivalry. Hope to see you next year.
Im not judging your club by its supporters, was nothing wrong with your players, just the usual hard battles we have always had, it just seems some of your support has gone feral, all im commenting on was the mess of rubbish and bottles you left on the hill beside the pitch!!!!!! Some of your support said while the b's was warming up "are youse ready for a beating" which i dont have a problem with as thats banter, but it did fire us up more to giving ye's a thumpin!

It seems to me you have been and continue to be very critical of both our club and our supporters. It is good to see you finally saying ‘some’ and not stereotyping ‘all’ as you have in the past.

Unfortunately you still remain a case of a blindman telling people they are shortsighted. You pulled your last post so quickly I hardly had time to read it, a case of realizing that it may highlight an incident that doesn’t paint your supporters as squeaky clean? Willing to fling mud, but not wanting to get hit?

Mate the point is you are quite happy to go around finger pointing but the reality is that there were a number of incidents involving your supporters that day that we could come on here and b itch and moan about but we move on. But if you are going to criticize others expect the criticism to flow.

SOUTHERN KNIGHTS / MUNNO PARA

The main person involved with the verbal abuse of some of our players simply over stepped the mark.
I believe that he was also the b team ref and I see from that game he is a very loyal club member.

I think most opposition teams would agree that he is a fair ref who lets the flow of the game go without continually stop/starting.

From what I saw he was injured as one of the Farm boys went in double footed on him when he had complete control of the ball and almost decapitated him, subsequently no card was given but the Farm player was dragged as a result. The player in question will remain nameless but I have seen him play before and he is a dirty scumbag once he crosses the white line!

Image

THE KEEPER WAS SEEN LEAVING THE GROUND LATER THAT DAY

It worked though, the unnamed Farm player got booked simply because he was standing in the 6 yard box.
An offence he will surely never make again!!

thought the vale were only really on top for the 5-10 period where they scored their 2 goals in the first half, one of them being a very soft handball where it rolled onto Luke H's hand whilst on the ground. downs scored in the 46th minute and kept the pressure up all second half. downs had a number of good chances in the first half as well.

Most opposition teams didn't witness him allow one of the MP players grab one of the SK players shirts and fling him to the ground just inside the box. The last attack of the day from Knights should have seen a corner but instead a goal kick was given, our linesman indicated that it was a corner but to no avail.
I suppose that is what you just have to put up with in the b team especially when the club officials are passionate supporters of their respective clubs, just like the MP ressies ref who from what I could see in the A's game loves his club

Not sure but the Pontians goal Keeper's fake injury where layed there for an extended period of time, was worthy of 5 minutes and an oscar
Mate, he did get hit, how hard might be the question but contact was made! :P

As for the Oscar I think his own trainer thought he was OK, took nearly 5 minutes to get to him!!!

Believe me, I'm as neutral as neutral can get when it comes to the amateur league - I wouldn't even know who the teams are. (I get told which team I am supposed to go for when we get there! )
But the green and white player definately made contact with the keeper at that game.

Interesting because the Green and white player in question wasn't near the keeper and I heard that even the keeper admitted after the game he made the most of it. Again good on him because I would of done the same thing. The guy got booked and he chewed up a heap of time.

I can say he was definately hit - whether or not it was by the guy who you are all discussing, I can't say because, as I said, I don't know the players.
The same goes for the 'alleged performance' by the goalie. He definately got hit, but whether or not he milked it, can't say, don't know the guy so don't know if he's got a reputation for doing this sort of thing..
All I can say for certain is that the goalie was hit by a green and white player, unsure which player it was or if the goalie was really that severely injured from it. Does that suit everyone?

Yes I think he said something about living in Trust House which the Scottish guy was gutted about, as he had just moved into a Trust House - Economic slowdown and all that, although I must say it was really clever of your big guy to keep saying he couldn't understand him due to his accent - although hope he got the address of the all you can eat restaurant

Unfortunately no I dont think it suits, as its an accumulation of yellows, which will lead to a suspension, the keeper in question did not have control of the ball, panicked and dived after the ball and yes the keepers hands and arms made contact with the player, however laying on his back with his arms out claiming he was out cold was a farce, - the booking was a joke, some other player from pontians started pushing and shoving due to the acting by said keeper, but led to a booking and wasted time, it was the ref who had no idea.

If the keeper was in fact injured I doubt he would have been able to make the save he did at the end of the game.

If said player is in danger of suspension due to an accumulation of yellows - shows me that he does this sort of thing frequently? :?

"a hand" is an understatement, the Vale crowed cheered as we thought he had saved it,only to see the ball spill out and run into the side netting...

Good game to watch, Vale had way more of the run of play but Downs did what was necessary on the day and scored a late winner.
pretty sure benny was in goals for the downs, he got close to saving the vales penalty though, as for the vale having way more of the play your having a laugh aren't ya
my bad, didnt read the post properly, just assumed because it said the keeper got a hand to the penalty it was in reference the the penalty the downs took... thats what i get for skimming posts

I do believe that the vale did have more of the ball, which is what i meant by 'run of play'
but they didnt look overly dangerous at all (except for the period when they scored their goals, as mentioned in an above post) I dont think either team really deserved to walk away with all 3 points, but hey... thats football!
