A's- 4-3
B's- 3-0
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Wow what a round for Vista pulling off a massive win, as well as Vikings. Looks like Vikings will go up :o Vista will be loving pulling away. Massive game v East next week!!! Grove will be most disappointed with their gap to the top widening.... Very very interesting....

Southern Knights 4 - Para 0

First half started out pretty even. both pushing and looking for the early break. Knights took the lead half way through the first half with a shot rebounding of the keeper and the pensioner slotting it in. Para to their credit should have on many very unlucky occasions equalised with us but just didnt get that final touch in the net. Knights had a penalty from the great work of the brumby but it was missed so half time 1-0. Second half knights extended their lead once again through the pensioner. Matty knocked in a well deserved header and with the dismissal of the their keeper sandy knocked in the fourth.
On the bad side, the pathetic credit goes to a few supporters from para. What a bunch of :clown: 's. From 2 minutes into the game and even after the final whistle they tried to explain their 4 nil hammering. Cant even sing at the end because they couldnt take the loss like men and had to try sing over top of us. Then as we walk into the changerooms at the end of the game one of them tries to downgrade our players when he really should look at his team. Should have a good look at yourselves and take a loss on the chin like men not some schoolkid!

A's

Fulham 4 - Westies 0

The momentum rolls on. 1st half was below par but second half turned it up and Fulham were the better side on the day.

B's

Fulham 2 - Westies 0

C's

Fulham 4 - Westies 2

Also Inter now in the relegation zone even with there good results over the past month (apart from todays's 1 nil loss to Gardens).

Pontians also pulling the results out of the bag to keep the relegation fight alive.

Good day of lion hunting for the boys from florina. Hope the guy who copped it in the cheek is ok, definately looked broken. As much spirit goes on during the game we don't like seeing any type of injury like that.
looks like ref counted last kick of the day as a goal, keeper came and was chipped on final whistle

ref insisted 5 - 2

THE REF IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!

There is no way in the world that FLORINA scored 5 today... even the last kick of the game the whistle had blown before the ball went in. Westervelt, the florina players, were all adament that the score was 4-2. I'd hate the title race to be decided by a single goal because of an inexplainable stuff up.

Anyway,

Lion went 2-0 up early with two goals from Sinisa Cosic, one the goal of the season, which gave us an early ascendancy. We hit the bar and had several chances to make it three before Florina scored from a nice 20 yard strike, 2-1 at halftime. At halftime Florina copped a good spray from Westers, which could be heard from 100 yds away. It must of worked as they came out hungrier second half and some costly mistakes resulted in us handing them some easy goals. It was good to see us scare the league leaders and we aim to take some points of the title chasers before the seaosns end.

Ha. I'm sorry did you just call someone else a schoolkid? Last I checked it was not a church sermon, it's a football match. Supporters can sing whenever they want. You just won 4-0 and you are saying you can't sing at the end because the opposition supporters are too loud? *Insert crying emoticon here*

Good win by the Knights today, were the better team in the end and, obviously, were the only side to take their chances. Thought the scoreline probably doesn't give a true indication of the match with both teams being fairly evenly matched for most of the day before Knights were able to step up (and Para self-distruct to a degree) late in the game. The Knights keeper would have to be close to best on ground (certainly was by a long way in the first half) he had a cracker.

Pretty much everything that could have gone wrong in the last two weeks has, hopefully we can bounce back against San Marco next week. Good luck to the Knights for the rest of the season and hope the bloke with the knee(?) injury is ok.

I think that David Mooney's knee is OK he said it was more of a knock below the knee.
Said that he was knocked out for a short while and when he came to his leg was pretty sore.
Thank the guy on the BBQ for the nice Bacon & Egg sandwich.
Revisited a few of my "old haunts" on the way home, walked on the pipeline, strolled along Smith's Creek, checked out the old home, the old gum tree and where the billabong used to be.
Best of luck for the rest of the year...just knock off any of the top three and Knights will be happy with you.

Very poor effort from the us today, definately the worst game we have played all year, but for all the Gannon knockers, he was excellent for Vista today, 2 very well taken goals. A class above us today, and if he keeps that form up, Vista will take points of a few sides yet. Also thanks to the Vista lads for dragging a wheelie bin over to the other side of the pitch, and cleaning up their mess. Much appreciated.

Scott was excellent today and this was while suffering from a strained driver and nearly not playing. Missed 2 great chances early but was a threat all day scoring 2 and winning the penalty. No worries with the rubbbish, we wouldnt want mess left at our ground so happily clean up after ourselves.

How did Luke Mc Cabe go in the ressies?? i warned him about the grove but i got the feeling he thought they would be soft!!
Macca was great today, got my vote! Grove were certaintly not soft. A few incidents went on off the ball by both teams that the referee did not want much to do with at all. Should have been many more cards to both teams i believe but thats the end of that. Backline was great today also Outlaw, lots of communication between the boys and a lot of hard work by the midfield. My highlight of the day was watching Big Al Break dancing in the box with the ball at his feet! GOLD :D

Only reason he didn't deal with the incidents was because they occured outside the centre circle which would of meant moving! As for Big Al's break dancing football_lad, funniest thing i've seen for a while, do a 360 while sitting on the floor beat 2 players and cross the ball!
