Modbury 4 West Adelaide 1 (modbury 0 west adelaide 1 at HALF TIME)

A Great defensive display by modbury today.
Modbury got revenge on WA after losing 6-0 afew weeks back. Modbury Took there chances while west adelaide only had minor chances mainly the referee the blame for that. Referee was not under full control of the game giving 2 soft red cards to west adelaide, 1 in the second half and one after the game following a bit of trouble.

Was a firey game from both teams. Was not good to see an all in brawl between players on the pitch and players off the field. WA coach was sent off for constantly abusing the referee.

Welldone to modbury on beating a top side in WA.
referee was way out of whack, he even told west adelaide players to shut up and tried to pick a fight with one of the west adelaide spectators. not what we should be seeing from our so called "match officials"

Good to see West Adelaide on here posting their usual SHITE.... They beat Modbury 6-0 in the 16's a few weeks ago and we heard how bad the Modbury defence was etc etc etc.... This week they lose to the poor Modbury defence 4-1 and the ref is to blame ????????? Not the Parents and Coach who were constantly abusing the Ref and anyone else near by.... And when they were losing , they decided to start a brawl on the pitch, which you also lost.More severely than the scoreline... HA HAHA.

why would we blame the loss on our parents or coaches and we did not start the brawl, the ferals did like they usually do. when you and your team get into the top half of the table then you can start talking yourselves up

And when you stop dropping players down from 17s ect you would be in the bottom half of the table. Modbury put you in your place today as you didnt drop 17s. And dont say you didnt drop players last time because half of the squad this week was not the same as previous game.

last time we played modbury we had 4 injuries so we had to replace the injured players with players from the 17s, they were all 1993 born so i no wrong doing

Well they obviously proved the difference last time. Im not against dropping players but without help from your U17s you cant do jack shit in the league. Like today 8th in the league beat 3rd in the league quite comfortabley in the end.

the players the U16s West Adelaide team dropped last time they played Modbury were U19s. I know this coz 2 of the U19s players dropped, scored 5 of the goals. It is posted on the West Adelaide website so u cannot deny it and make excuses.

When West Adelaide win they come on here and pay everyone out but when they lose they have to make excuses.

And yes maybe the ref was a bit of a clown today but none of modburys goals were caused by the referee so stop making your stupid excuses and calling modbury ferals because you west adelaide boys are bad losers

I play in the U16s league and i have played Modbury twice this season, once in the cup. They are a good team and definetely not ferals. they play the game properly and there were no bad or late tackles.

Yes, west adelaide are bad losers. if City win their catch up game they will go 5 points clear of west adelaide

you must of played a different Modbury team to the one we played today and west adelaide aren't bad losers when we lose the occasional game after been beaten by a better team we will admit it, we got beaten by para hills 3-2 last week fair and square. but todays game was a different story modbury players cant say that they didnt jump in with bad tackles and as with the ref even the modbury players should agree that he was a dud and had no idea about the sport

we played at modbury's junior ground, first red card was a second yellow. the second yellow was for appealing for a freekick after the player got a studs up slide tackle from behind and the referee waved play on. the first yellow in the first half was for saying to the referee "just watch the hands in the back on that player ref" and that warranted a yellow card according to the referee because he didn't like players appealing or suggesting anything to him. the second red card was after the game, one of our players called the ref a disgrace, he is off to europe for 2 months so its no big loss

If you were listening mate you would of heard the player tht got the second yellow saying to the referee your a dirty prick. You just dont call referees that. Have some respect.

the ref would of showed him a second yellow regardless, he wouldn't accept anyone appealing for a freekick or saying anything to him (swearing or not)
