Adelaide Villa v Bosa - Bosa 3-1 The better team
Stirling v St Peters - St Peters 2-0 Game too important with 2nd & 3rd playing each other
Africa v Modbury Jets - Jets 2-1 Nearlly the upset (Tend too switch off when not in a big game)
Gleeson v Adelaide Wanderers - Wanderers 8-0 Easy
Adelaide Uni v Sturt Marion - Uni 5-0 Not sure whats happening to Sturt in last couple of weeks. Uni looked ok last week

Villa v Bosa, Draw
Stirling v St Peters, St Peters easily
Africa v Jets Africa because when we played them last time almost came away with a win if it was not for loads of missed opportunities. Always had close games against them with heaps of goals scored ..this time though is our time
Gleeson v Wanderers, Wanderers by a few and a few more
Uni v Sturt, Uni in a close game.. Sturt still thinking about the 7-0 loss in the cup game

Villa v BOSA: BOSA in the match of the round
Stirling v Saint Peters: Saints. Getting close to having full strength squad back at right time of season.
Africa v Jets: Draw
Gleeson v Wanderers: Wanderers
Uni v Sturt: Uni. Played some nice football last week, especially in the 1st half, but tended to do it in front of our back 4.

Adelaide Villa v Bosa - BOSA in a tight match. May go and watch this one as we have the 3pm slot off. Or I may just go to the pub. Decisions, decisions.
Stirling v St Peters - St Peters. They seem to have a more workmanlike team this year. Nothing flash, but nothing foolish. Should go well up on the marshes.
Africa v Modbury Jets - Jets in a tough one
Gleeson v Adelaide Wanderers - Wanderers. Easy points
Adelaide Uni v Sturt Marion - Uni, despite losing home ground advantage to a misguided league "brainwave".

Putting a different slant on Fresh Football's post about the last 5 games results & who will be there at the end of the season, if the results from the corresponding fixtures in the 1st half of the season were to be repeated for the final 6 games it would leave BOSA on top  . I know that current form is far more relevent than past results but just thought it would be interesting to see what the table would look like. Below shows the points for each team as it stands now + the points each team won from round 4 to round 9
Saint Peters: 26 + 11 = 37 pts
BOSA: 26 + 13 = 39 pts
Villa: 25 + 9 = 34 pts
Wanderers: 20 + 7 = 27 pts
Uni: 17 + 13 = 30 pts
Jets: 15 + 10 = 25 pts
Sturt: 15 + 8 = 23 pts
Stirling: 12 + 5 = 17 pts
Africa: 11 + 7 = 18 pts
Gleeson: 1 + 0 = 1 pt

I like your thinking Galey, although I'm pretty sure Wanderers will finish above Uni and contest the title...

You may be right on the first point, but making up 6 points and 3 places in 6 games is a big ask. You have to rely on all 3 dropping points big time. The title is a 3-horse race this year, and you lads aren't in the breakaway.

It's a fair call, but Wanderers do play all three and could've taken points in all of the first round matches - we didn't have the rub of the green in those matches...

Wait & see...

Your probably right. You guys seem to be hiting your straps at the right time of the season. Still, there's plenty of tough games ahead for all of the top 4. Going to be interesting!!!!

I watched St Peters Vs adelaide uni, and I just have to ask. Is this meant to be the highest division in amateurs?

Adelaide Villa v Bosa - But only just. We should be able to score some decent goals this time around.
Stirling v St Peters - Stirling are looking like they may not survive the drop.
Africa v Modbury Jets - Draw - Africa seeming in good form, but Jets always pretty solid.
Gleeson v Adelaide Wanderers - 0-5 doesn't seem too unreasonable.
Adelaide Uni v Sturt Marion - I think it all fell apart for Sturt Marion after round 10 and they still haven't recovered yet.

Div 1 Uni team played Sturt Marion last night, and the reserves today. If you were watching SPOC and uni, it was probably one of the lower divs (5 or 6) - which is effectively uni's 7th side. So no, to answer your question.

Game was already played, and SM won.
Thanks for tipping us, though.
