I saw the 2nd half of this game and from what I watched, Inter was constantly on the back foot and the guy next too me, an Inter supporter, said bar the first 10-15 minutes it has been like this most of the game. Although Inter went up 1-0 against the run of play, I would say it was 2 points dropped for the Farm, but playing the better football does not give you three points and Inter held off the pressure well and gained a well earned away point.[/quote]

the guy you were talking to was obviously a farm supporter in disguise, any-one watching the game would have said a draw was a fair result with play at both ends of the ground, imagine had the ref blown on time 3 points lost

Rumour has it that during the heated battle between TTG and Para on Sunday, AO'M started pushing around Para's coach on the sidelines.
If said incident is true i can guarantee a certain coach of Para's who happened to be absent on Sunday due to work commitments will be nice and fired up for the next encounter.
In fact ill go as far as to say that AOM wouldn't have even looked at the Para bench if the absent coach was there.
Cant wait for the re-match.
WHY DO THEY CALL IT OVALTINE? I MEAN ITS ROUND, WHY DONT THEY CALL IT ROUNDTINE.

There was a stack of wasted time, and afew injuries, ie Morgan, clashing heads that held up play, and another injury in front of the 12 Inter supporters, thus to blow the whistle the moment the stop watch hit 45 minutes exactly is a ridiculous comment.

MR BANYA,
Get of the crack pipe mate. A couple of points firstly the Radfords (George Snr, George, Tony and Dave) I have nothing but respect for these guys, was Refereed by George Snr, coached by Tony and have played and had dealings with George and Dave over 20 years.
Secondly: I was confronted and chested by a fired up Para Coach, I stood my ground and may have pushed him away but not in the way you are implying.
Thirdly: Why would Dave be worried about it, nothing happened? Apart from being 3 nil up and throwing it away to lose 4-3?

So if you are trying to create something out of nothing keep going, why let the truth get in the way of a good story!

As far as Im concerned like in my playing days what happened on the field stays on the field, After the game both coaches shook hands and it was all done and dusted. TTG move on to there next game and Im sure Munno Para will too.

Fark me.. it sounds like a whole heap of shite to me. It sounds like a few people wear their hearts on the sleeves and give everything for their clubs. At the end of the day, this is amatuer soccer. Shake hands, accept the result after having given everything, and have a beer.

All the shite that is being written about this day from both sides of the border... time to let things go

Firstly, Im sure the respect is mutual LRO.

Secondly, im implying nothing. As my first line stated, Rumour!!!!! And as you stated "a good story". What's wrong with a good story? This is a forum where people tell stories/rumours/lies/truth isn't it?

Thirdly, never said the absent coach was worried, just that he is a little fired up (as you would be too if you got told an opposing coach shoved your someone from your club) as he wasnt there to see the game and he cannot wait for the re-match...

Just stating what i had been told and what peoples thought are, with a little fishing on the side.

Looks like a snagged a big one!!!!

Well done to Plympton, only had 10 men & had to use a couple of ring-ins to play & gave a full strength MP side a hard time to get the point.

8)
was a good game. we controlled it and were unlucky to not take the three points. but plympton held very strong with ten men and credit to them. a few scary moments at the end with some dangerous breaks... but with the shot count being around 30-5 to para it was a little dissapointing...

On The Pine wrote: Firstly well done to TTG for an amazing fightback. I thought you were being well and truly outplayed for the best part of an hour and it is not every day that a team can turn that around and come back from 3-0 down with twenty to go. We will have to wear that, but life goes on.

In terms of all the other stuff all I can say is that I am actually starting to feel glad that you guys got the points, your forumites whinging levels are painfully intense as it is, god knows I would hate to see what level we would have to endure if you had actually lost. I am guessing blood would actually stream from my eyes.

The funny thing is that you all have such a short memory. Your "good people" were the ones that charged onto the field in the B's game when it got heated between players on the field. Nobody from our club got involved and despite that not one of our forumites would have even mentioned it (despite losing the game). The only reason I bring it up is that I feel duty bound to put an end to all the pompous back slapping going on that folk at the Gully are perfect and it is the Munno Para boys, who have just wandered in from the projects out in the bronx, who are fouling up the earth.

Should I also mention that your B's referee referred to our players on the field as di ckheads? Or how about the fact that I actually saw one of your supporters litter? No, no, not the upstanding folk at the Gully?

Every club leaves a mess, some worse than others. I don't condone it, in fact I hate it because I am usually stupid enough to help clean up when your supporters, or whoever else visits, leaves a mess around. But I don't come on and b itch about it.

As for the crowd singing, well they were getting into it in the B's too and we were 5-1 down. One of the Gully boys playing in the B's actually commented that he was impressed with how vocal they were. In general our support is passionate and well behaved. If an isolated incident occurred on the other side of the pitch from where 99% of our supporters were sitting and it was indeed our supporter who was at fault then I apologise. But c'mon you got the win who cares if a couple of rounded blokes had a few heated words? I feel that it is hardly worth coming on here and moaning about.

Good luck for the rest of the year to TTG. Hopefully we can both stay up, bit of history and a bit of heat between us over the years always makes for a good weekend.
So your happy we beat you then, just so you wouldn't have to put up with postings on a football forum? Do you know how stupid that sounds?

& also if your referring to me about dropping my litter you'll be happy to know I picked up at half time on my way to the bar.

I was spewing I missed the games yesterday through injury but Good luck to you boys for the rest of the season as well. Hopefully you hang around for some re-matches next season.
Do I know how stupid it sounds? Well let me answer your question by saying that I know how stupid it sounds when somebody takes a comment that was written for emphasis literally….really stupid.

Also if you spent more time concentrating on comprehending what I wrote and less time trying to hatch (failed) comebacks you would fully understand the point that I was making. Instead of focusing on a good win, there is so much whiney “oh and their supporters did this” over really minor stuff involving a minority, spewed forth with an air of superiority that fails to acknowledge the less than sporting gestures that came from under their banner. Translation? Your club is less than perfect and were less than perfect on Sunday.

Enjoy the great win, let us know about it and save the whinging for a time when you actually have something to whinge about. Hopefully after we beat you next year

Inters crowd was better than I expected to be honest. A few of them sat on our side of the pitch.

Most of the crew in Para Hills gear are ex Ingle Farm players who's kids play at Para. They are just too tight to buy any of our merchandise  You will find them at every home game and most away games for us though.

Just realised I have done a write up from the Inter game. Just to busy at work at the moment.

Basically it was a dour game with both sides playing a bit below par due to weather and pitch. Inter could of scored seconds into the first half if it wasn't for the brilliance of Robbie Greenwood.

We scored very late and with 30 seconds to go, hit the cross bar which would of been the winner.

B's was a tough hard game with Inter taking their chances and us not doing enough to deserve a win. A bit physical for a while but settled down in the second half. Well Done to Inter for knocking us off twice in a season. That hasn't happened to our Ressies for probably 5-6 years.

C's did go ahead as we wanted to preserve the pitch and we felt it might be a bit water logged. It actually drained away better than we thought so in hind sight could of played it but wanted the A's to have a quarter decent pitch.

Cheers to Inter and their supporters for coming down and having a drink after the game. Well done to Brad for turning them around this season and if they can keep their players, they could be challenging again next year.

Hopefully we can both stay up, bit of history and a bit of heat between us over the years always makes for a good weekend.
why did you then... 4-3 thankyou for the 3 points!!!!
??? I didn't moan about the scuffle.

Did you know that in a vacuum a frog can vomit out it's own stomach? Oh... we are playing the "my comment makes no sense" game aren't we?

I see you named yourself after a character that was infinitely cocky but not overly bright. Fitting.

We will enjoy our great win, don't you worry about that & after you beat us next year? That's showing a bit too much confidence isn't it, considering we beat you twice this year.
I think you will find that the whole quote was: Enjoy the great win, let us know about it and save the whinging for a time when you actually have something to whinge about. Hopefully after we beat you next year.

It's not nice to change what people have written, even if you are trying to divert attention away from something.

It was a throwaway line but based on the last game I wouldn't think it's not necessarily such a stretch.

Sure you got the points and were on top for the last 25-30 but you could argue that we were on top for a good 60 and should have taken home the bacon. There is a long time till we meet again and a lot can happen, but our games have always been pretty tight, even affairs over the years. You usually have a good squad and have caused us some problems over the years and I wouldn't put my house on it, but I will certainly come on here and talk it up. Fingers crossed we can seal our place first though. :D
