Re: Modbury Jets Soccer Club - Season 2010 Junior Coaches
Talk about makin' life difficult for myself.....
John McCormack is coaching this year's Mobury U15A's.
Whereas most clubs are advertising all their junior coaching positions, Modbury are only advertising U11s and U16s.
Given the success the U15As are having this year I would have thought John would have continued through with the U16s next year?

Y ?
sometimes a coach needs to change teams and work with others
IMHO coaches should stay with a team for 2 maybe 3 years as a max regardless of their performace.
Jets need to focus on their U17's as a developement for their future seniors squad/s.
Hey, but WTF would i know

Couldn't agree more ZJ...I have coached a number of sports over many years and seeing the development of the kids you coach is one of the greater joys in life!! I would actually say the you shouldn't be doing it if you are not getting that enjoyment out of it!!Zeljko Jurin wrote:Who said it was anything about ME ???Club Referee wrote:Coaching juniors shouldn't be about you

well i suppose it will all come out soon enough who is going to coach the U/17 at parra next year, i for one hope its not the above mentioned
when you say he will bring the better lads does this mean his own

Para Hills would be very lucky to have the services of John McCormack, he has proven himself to be a talented coach, as well as agood mentor to his players.BLACK_AND_WHITE wrote:Soap Box wrote:i heard we are gonna have lots modbury boys at para next year. dwayne gray to coach seniors and johnny macormack has been given the 17 s and will bring his better lads with him should be quality side at para next season.Bresciano wrote:What about Martin Evans (current U16s coach), Rabbit (U15s) and current U17 PH coach (not sure who that is)

If this is true, why is he leaving Modbury?, been there a fair while, thought he was Modbury through and through
Para 15's and 16's both are top of their tables at present, wouldn't have thought too many would be coming across from Modbury next season.

Re: Modbury Jets Soccer Club - Season 2010 Junior Coaches
the question is how many of the boys are modbury through and through. i would hope most of the boys stay with modbury.
yes, john is a good coach but maybe he has exceptional players in his side which is the success of the squad. all the boys are good mates and have close bonds with one another.
maybe its time to move on for john and the boys. maybe the boys who have been with him for years should move on to a knew coach. who knows?
Lets see what happens in the next few weeks.
