Goalkeepers only

Post by sportymorty »

I am looking for opinions about a new special edition Flexi Grip glove from Josef Fischer

I quite like it, but it is a special edition for the German market where black and yellow is very popular and I won't bring it in no one else think it looks good.

They don't look bad at all. I'm thinking about getting that pair.

Over in WA I accidentally left my gloves in the away changerooms of a team who were too far to visit again unfortunately. I am desperately looking for a pair simialar to those. If anyone knows where I can get them, please send me a private message. Here is a picture of them anyway http://www.cardinaldocs2010.com/2011/ni ... gloves.jpg

Nice parady work
lol @ location being 25000.

I've never left gloves in an away changerooms but I'm always on the lookout for new ones. Nothing wrong with black and yellow... they are FK Bodø/Glimt colors after all.

The Supersofty text can easily be removed and I also think removing the J and F letter from each side of the logo, will improve the look too.

Personally couldn't care less what the back looks like, more interested in the palm, how about a photo of the other side of the glove, and some info regarding the makeup of the rubber. What is the price going to be like, and any idea when stock will be landing? Definately going to try out a pair of JF gloves next season.

Must have been a growing up at the Downs thing, don't think I wore any when I was at the Downs. Started wearing them after I broke a finger playing a night catch up game.
Still think they cause a few goals by deflecting the ball back into play rather than round the posts or over the bar.
Have noticed that referees seem to want the balls pumped up much harder these days...I thought FIFA had lowered the recommended inflation pressure.
Proper Inflation
Regardless of size, a properly inflated ball is firm yet resilient. A good test is to hold the
ball and press on one panel with both thumbs. The panel should deflect about 1/4 inch.
If it doesn’t, the ball is too hard. If it compresses much more, the ball needs some air.
Either condition is dangerous

The special edition glove is still the Flexi Grip. Only thing changed are the colours and the logo. The thumb is made from 1 piece of latex, so the thumb is black all around, but the rest of the palm is white super soft latex. The cut is negative, but the main feature with Josef Fischer gloves is that he only use 100% german latex.

You can read a little bit more about Josef Fischer gloves in this forum and here is a link to a photo of the current Flexi Grip model including the palm.

The RRP for the Flexi Grip is $100, but I can't dictate the price from the stores.
