I don't think arsenal is a place name either.God is an Englishman wrote:probably true because they have an individual name, I mean you can hardly call all the uniteds as copying adelaide. It's also not a place name.Tony Adams wrote:pretty sure ive heard somewhere that arsenal has the most professional clubs named after them

But nothing has come close to beating Wanderers while down to 10 men this year.
Re: Teams you love to beat?
Coming from the Gully, obvious team to hate is Vista but coming in close second is you guys. Unfortunately A's didn't get the 3 points yesterday but a satisfying win for the B's. As you said both games were hard fought.Reason to enjoy beating the knights is that it is a long drive home if you don't win. Credit must go to you guys, traveling an hour + every second week.knight25 wrote:Love to beat the GULLY
Hard game between knights and gully every game and tomoz will be a tough game again..

Well Hawkesy 2 out of 3 ain't bad, 2 things you are an authority on are (1) being mouthy and (2) being fat, unfortunately the thread was about something you know nothing about, teams you love to beat. I don't recall you being in a game where you've actually beaten BOSA? And if you are wondering who i am, i am the fat reserves coach, but again you are wrong because you wouldn't have a clue who i am. However, i would be more than happy to introduce myself on Saturday if you have the time.God is an Englishman wrote:BOSA (bunch of grenache who are too mouthy for their own good- actually it's mainly their fat b's coach)
saint peters (good healthy rivalry between the 2 clubs)
comets (previous club)
but fast coming up
the whingeing muppets from vipers (and I've never even played against them)
Re: Teams you love to beat?
well when playin at gardens - salisbury inter , elizabeth downs and PHE
now at southern knights - well PHE ( reckon in 8 years only the one win )
but whilst have only played them twice adelaide vikings ... for a club with little history they are one very cocky club ....

Re: Teams you love to beat?
being from vista has to be farm and gully, closely followed by east due to being very close...
apart from that would say beating an ethnic team is always good, and always a challenge
best win though is winning a close one in the last 5 mins of the game...

I still remember the 3 all draw. Great game to be involved in. Love playing you guys, always hard, tough games but played in the right spirit. A bit of banter, a bit of fun but very serious till the final whistle.Beach_Driller wrote:Ingle Farm Ressie in the Cup...3 bloody years in a row they have beaten the Beach B's in the cup

Re: Teams you love to beat?
Mine would be in order (with reason given)
Para Hills East (Rival who lives 500 meters away)
Modbury Vista (Former junior club)
Para Hills West (Mates and a few previous issues)
Downs (Biggest Club)
Modbury Jets (They just seems to hate us but love us @ The Farm )
Gardens (Nugget )[/quote]
have to agree with jay here but also add the Gully & Inter
mind you playing in each league each week is always a battle

DOWNS
VALE
INTER
In that order, but it use to be the other way around until the rise of the DOWNS & the fall of INTER, in saying that I can't wait to play INTER again....
