Yer they got their revenge but had to drop U17s and U19s players to do it. They couldn't use their normal team coz they would have lost. They were lucky to win, got a penalty in the last min of the game.

You can't say city looked like winning I can't remember them shooting other than their goal, west adelaide just couldn't hit the target and luckily won in the end.

To all the people winging about west adelaide dropping players

What does it matter if they drop players down. At the end of the day there all the same age, just more experienced or better players.

Buddy don't believe that tool
There was only 3 or 4 players on the bench the norm for any side

U 16s.
Modbury 2
Cumberland 2

Modbury fought on hard once again. Went 2-0 down in during a shocking period in the 2nd half. With 4 minutes left on the clock modbury recieved a penalty and converted. The last kick was a corner to modbury which was a cracking corner on his left foot and found i think it was the captain and he headed home.

U 15s
Modbury 6
Cumberland 0

A great game played by modbury today. Mostly quality goals and a great response after narrowly beating cumberland 4-3 two weeks before hand.

If you bring down players from the 17's and 19's and your regular U16 team mates are sitting on the bench that is stupid!
But in this case this team only had 3 players on the bench so there is nothing wrong in that.

to manu17 and Goal we didn't dropp 9 under 19 and 17s players :clown:

And btw i was on the bench due to a injury along with 1 other team mate that has an injury and our midfielder was unwell half way during the game so he stayied off. Admit it u lost every 1 losses we lost 7-0 to yous and we didn't cry about it. We wroked hard at training got our confidence up and came out 2day knowing that we had 2 work our asses of and it showed at the end of the day. Build a bridge and climb over it.

west adelaide had deserved to win the game. they were the much better team 2day. adelaide city only had 1 chance on goal. all you adelaide city boys. you cant take it when you lose. everything has to go your way and if it doesnt, you start crying.

Congratulations to West Adelaide
they won and city lost and who cares about dropping players if they are ellegible then so be it
what i cant believe is the way that West Adelaide went about their business after the game
i dont mean the team song
but rubbing it into the city parents when they got they penalty, when they scored the penalty and after the final whistle
what absolute nut-jobs
