Surely the worst record in the SAASL...

GULLY STRIKERS - 2 games, 2 losses, 1 goal scored, 54 goals conceded!

fwiw fyi they are in div 6 and they appear to be a new team that has started late in the piece.

I wouldnt think they would have anything to do with TTG would they?

Youre right REDS they are a group of guys who want to have a fun kick around on the weekends ! We let them use our grounds because they are a good social lot who drink mainly dads of the young kids who play at our club !! Dont really think there is a div suitable for them to be honest but hey they paid their fees !! Let them have their fun !! Did notice they actually scored !!

a bit of quick math says they have conceded a goal every 3.3 minutes of game time over 2 games
take off time for restarts after the goals, and other ball out of play instances and they have probably conceded a goal every 2 minutes or so of actual playing time
and they are having fun ! thats brilliant... good on em

They probably also wouldnt sit down and work out the sums like you just did, as they probably dont care ! And probably enjoying life and twisting the top off another beer.

our indoor soccer team beat a side 50 nil last year and they still kept playing with a smile on their faces. i felt a bit sorry for them though especially as it was a 40 minute game

Agreed. Hats off to them. I remember the local rugby club where I stayed in Scotland put a team in the bottom division and got hammered every week, maybe not to the extent of Strikers, but what impressed me was the way they conducted themselves. Not one bit of bitching between themselves or towards the referee, probably because their code doesn't condone it, but that's another thread.
