Tongue in cheek. 8 Games 7 Div. 1 sides the chances of none of them meeting each other is remote. Luck of the draw eh.

Looks like a few great games in store, thats the beauty of the cup. Last years finalists to play each other (Gardens-Grove), 6 time winner of the cup and sun div 1 champs Vale playing BOSA who are travelling well in sat div1. Last years sat div1 champs wanderers playing Downs, travelling good in league. Should be some ripper games.

Again we will get to see how much difference there is between Saturday & Sunday leagues.

Hey 5cougarsthanx, it is interesting to see how many of us ferals from the north there are left in the cup eh? Obviously there must be something about ferals and quality soccer.... my prediction, Downs to smash Wanderers... even if they are hammered... and the quality of Sunday premier league over Saturday premier league to become apparent.

How will the Vale, Downs and Florina go with fielding their first choice team playing on a Saturday? Will you guys be missing many?

I think the BOSA v Vale game will be great, and i'll go and watch that. Shame the BOSA pitch will be a shocker by Saturday.....

Would've thought it was apparent when Wanderers smashed Sunday Champions Vale 6-2 in the Champions final last season.
Then some wanker comes on and says Vale didn't train - you don't forget how to play in a week or two!!!

No-one takes the Champions of Champions seriously and even though when ur out there u play to win by the last week in September when the regular season is 3 weeks finished I myself am already away on holidays and would be safe to say that most teams would lose a few of there regular players due to holidays by the time the Champion of Champions comes around.

This week will be a fairer indication when u play to c what level u guys are on I would think.

Bollocks... anyone who plays it would want to win it. Excuses like "we weren't trying" or "we didn't take it seriously" are just that, excuses.

Bit concerned about our game on Saturday against quality side Florina :| If our last 2 performances are anything to go by, we will be in for a rude shock. Just hope our keeper doesn't get a sore back from pulling balls out the back of the net.

I do think that it may be a different prospect playing a team that is in the middle of their season and now sitting top?? But by all means keep asking 'who are the downs', because i'm sure there arent many of their first team players on here???? An interesting match up could be Reeves and Tassovac... Would love to see that one.... Should be a cracker of a game!!!

keep positive, motivated and confident this week. Portray this to all players and it may just actually be a tight game.

So we'll be seeing ya MB..?

Wanderers this year, as you can see form the league table have had mixed results with a few players leaving/retiring from last years Championship side and new ones coming in. This year's league has been competitive - lose and you'll drop a position, win you'll gain a position etc...

So we'll see this week, Wanderers are getting some results now and Downs are always tough opponents in any match.

Everyone welcome to this week's match:

Wow - what a round! There are so many games to like - the Division 1 showdowns in particular:
Wanderers v. Downs
BOSA v. Vale
Farm v. Stirling
Fulham v. Saints

In that lot, there are championship winners from both divisions as well as Cup winners. BOSA has won the Cup, and Saints have an excellent Cup record.

(No disrespect intended for not mentioning the other 8 participants.)

These sort of games clearly demonstrate the heritage and value of the SAASL.

Good luck to all teams.

Hopefully both teams can keep 11 players on the park for the full 90 minutes ?
