Re: SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE RD 11 - PREDICTIONS
the usc game only featured two of the players and was a good result that could of been more like 6-/7-1 given the chances inter missed. the second game was against westies at westies and 1-1 result against a quality side pushing for the title and could of easily (and should have) stolen it featured a player who hadnt trained once and another who had only 1 session under his belt. the 4 have played plenty of football together and gel well and seen as they are spread out across the feild says to me that they will be putting pressure all over the park (as seen in the westies game)all this while a couple of other first teamers are away. inter will be putting pressure on a lot of teams this year.imanoutlaw wrote:Correct they played their first against lion on th 21st and then against westies last week. Not really outstanding results for inter in those two weeks with a 4-1 win at Lion and a 1-1 draw at West.........Kirk Hammett wrote:I may be wrong, but i believe they have now played 2 games togetherontheblackburner wrote:ELIZ VALE vs INGLE FARM

SALS INTER vs SALS FLORINA
FULHAM vs USC LION
Inter may have picked up four players of quality but it might be a tad unrealistic to expect them to gel after a weeks training and no games together. Florina to bring home the underdown cup.
Parafield to draw with Downs.

Try brute force with your C team coach Jay, I can help you if you'd like?? I'm sure together we can beat a C team game out of him for ya!!Jay Walking wrote:nachoman wrote:Jay I mean the c - team![]()
Hopefully I get a run in that game. Coach keeps putting me on the bench in the C's atm.

Good luck to Tim Foureur from Westies who underwent a knee reconstruction this morning. Has been the tough, fast rightback in the A's for the last two years and is spewing. Will also miss his surfboat season and the nationals.

my sentiments exactly, has been playing the best football of his career. The move to Westies has given him the chance to show what he can do, and sadly quite a bit of time out before he can play again....all the best Tim ... get well soon....sprogget wrote:Good luck to Tim Foureur from Westies who underwent a knee reconstruction this morning. Re: SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE RD 11 - PREDICTIONS
vale v farm- farm in great form with 2 of there best wins since they have been in div 1, in my opinion, at such an important time of the season. the vale are due a good game, and are capable of beating anyone on there day, and may sneak a draw here.
pontian v west- west should take care of an improved pontian comfortably.
inter v florina- inter will be confident after some good form of late, but florina keep ticking along. it will be interesting to see if marchioro will get the job on azza. great local derby that inter could sneak something from, but i think florina will have to much fire power.
fulham v lion- was impressed with fulhams shape and structure, and they broke really quick when given space last week, lion a sinking ship. fulham easy.
downs v gardens- well its that time of the year again, we travel to argana after one of our most dissapointing losses of the year, not just because of the result, but more the way we played, and our attack on the ball. would be nothing better then to beat the downs at the downs on there day, and put a dent in there tittle challenge. but all that aside, we just want to put in a good performance, and stick to our game plan, unlike last week. benny a has had a b.o.g performance every time hes played us since making the switch, so we owe him one and he owes me a beer in the club afterwards

My favourite was knocking off Vale at their ground last year when they were top but the last two weeks have been very important wins for us.gardensgoon wrote:vale v farm- farm in great form with 2 of there best wins since they have been in div 1, in my opinion, at such an important time of the season. the vale are due a good game, and are capable of beating anyone on there day, and may sneak a draw here.

Certainly not taking it easy this week. Despite the pitch been flooded and it was pouring with rain, we still had about 40 people out training last night. Would be great to achieve that as we owe Vale from when they beat us at home last season with 3 spectacular goals.gardensgoon wrote:probably not a good idea to bring that up the friday before u play themJay Walking wrote:My favourite was knocking off Vale at their ground last year when they were top but the last two weeks have been very important wins for us.gardensgoon wrote:vale v farm- farm in great form with 2 of there best wins since they have been in div 1, in my opinion, at such an important time of the season. the vale are due a good game, and are capable of beating anyone on there day, and may sneak a draw here.there wouldnt be many teams over the years that have beaten the gardens, downs, and vale all season let alone 3 weeks in a row. u guys have the chance to do that this week, would be a pretty impresive stat and give you alot of confidence in the home stretch of the tittle race.
